The Metaphysical Power Of Flowers
If you were to enter my garden in England, one of the first things your eyes may be drawn to is a gorgeous hanging basket full of purple petunias. I put it there for several reasons, and not just to gaze upon its beauty. No, it hangs where it hangs because of how it makes me feel.
Flowers are metaphysically powerful and can assist you in obtaining emotional and spiritual well-being. My purple petunias make me feel motivated and brimming with wellness. Okay, this may seem like a bold statement, but flowers truly are magical in that they can help enhance your productivity, overall happiness, soothe any sensitivity in your life and help to motivate you at the same time. And yes, they can do this for you by just looking at them. Continue reading
Yin And Yang Balance The Key To Well-Being
There is an ancient belief system that everything can be seen in one’s face. Your emotional state, your physical state, warnings, strengths and weaknesses. I have been studying this philosophy for many years and have found it to be very helpful when observing my own physical well-being, but also that of my clients and students.
For instance, your circulation can be observed in the forehead and the nervous system in the pupils, while the kidneys can be seen under your eyes. The heart is at the tip of the nose, the sexual organs above the upper lip and the stomach is on the upper lip.
The first 28 days after conception is the time when the top portion of the embryo’s face develops. If drugs or medications are taken by the mother during this time, it can cause a problem throughout the person’s life span. This is also the time that birth marks are formed. Often birth marks can be related to trauma and injury from past lives, but they can also be newly formed from the intake of foods and toxins from the mother. Continue reading
Less Is More Equals Less Anxiety
I was meditating the other day, and really needed to too! The whole first half of the day I had frantically been running around. There were so many things I felt “I had to do”. But after meditating I realized that many of the things I was so obsessed with get done, was really pointless. The frenzied day I embarked on just resulted in less money in my pocket, and additional stress when I ran into someone I really was trying to avoid. That ended up giving me a tension headache.
I could have been doing something else, something more constructive, like sitting in my comfy couch meditating and enjoying the wonderful serene rainstorm. That storm was really awesome; I really enjoy them. Continue reading
Using Stones To Heal – The A’s (Part 1)
Abalone
Although abalone is not a crystal, abalone shell has been used for centuries in jewelry and carvings. Abalone used as a bowl for sage and clearing can help to intensify the release of negative energy in a house or office. Abalone can calm emotions and bring a “watery” serene feeling to one’s energy or to a situation. Abalone brings the element and energy of the sea into any home it is displayed in. Water is healing, cleansing, mystical and sharpens intuition. Wearing abalone can help with developing psychic visions and intuition. Wearing abalone will also bring a sense of peace and calm to the person wearing it.

Visitation From Grandpa In My Meditation Garden
I like to spend time in my meditation garden. It’s a very healing place I go to connect with my higher self, spirit guides, the guides of my clients, and loved ones who have crossed over. Sometimes it is a place I go to just sit and be still and enjoy the sweet smells of all the wonderful different flowers that live there.
The other day I was focusing on my time with my Grandpa and just embracing gratitude for that wonderful experience. I was focusing on the first visitation I had from him about a month after his passing, when he came to me to tell me he loves me. He told me telepathically that he was okay and doing fine. He told me he would come through again if he could, and he did. Continue reading
Rid Yourself Of Psychic ‘Junk’
Anyone who lives in a big city knows that space is at a premium these days. And that’s just elbow room. We seldom talk about our psychic space, which is constantly being bombarded. How in the world do we protect ourselves?
First and foremost, you need to have healthy boundaries. Each of us needs and deserves to have a safe place, a sense of self-worth, and protection from others. Think about what happens to a beach that is battered constantly by waves. It will wear down and eventually disappear. If you don’t have boundaries, your very identity will be like those grains of sand.
Learning to connect back to the Earth and nature is essential to our well-being. This can be as simple as walking without shoes in a natural space, or by keeping plants in your living space. When we are separate from our natural selves, we lose perhaps the most important part of our soul. By walking in nature, you are literally reconnecting. Like a lightning bolt discharging energy when it strikes solid ground, you are releasing all the negative energies that accumulate in your body. Take a friend, or walk your dog if you have one.
