Each time we turn to unnecessary conflict, things turn into chaos. It stirs up the aura around each person involved. The ripples of anger and hurt affects everyone involved.
This doesn’t mean we can’t ever stand up for ourselves, or disagree. In fact, statistics prove that couples who never argue most often don’t last in their relationships. A good storm now and then can clear up things and allow us opportunity to express the things we have been suppressing.
But often we hold it in for too long, and then it blows up. When this happens, the drama is often worse than it needed to be. We say things we later regret. We are even surprised by some of the things we say when we get this upset! Where did that come from? Continue reading
The Sun Will Rise Again
The world seems to be fighting against us. Just as soon as we get out of the bitterest cold winter of our lives, we are hit with extreme heats, tornadoes, storms. Thor, on his winged horse, has ridden through… angry, wild, crazed, keeping all of us on our toes.
In our lives, in our relationships, we have all sorts of weather as well. These ups and downs, the setbacks, the craziness of life and love sometimes make us feel that the Sun has left us forever. It seems as if even the clouds try to cover up its warmth, heat, its nurturing, smiling face. Yet, the Sun always rises to bring light to a new day.
The bright light of the sun shows all in truth, both the harsh and good. Although we can’t see him behind the tornado, behind the storm, he is there. Behind the darkening clouds that overshadow all the light, that trouble the skies with lightening, thunder, and rain, the Sun remains like the Most High Spirit of Light. He is still there. Spiritual Awakening, Now What?
A few years ago, in the time leading up to 2012, I wrote a blog post about the symptoms of spiritual awakening. Well, here we are in 2014 and some of us are wondering what to do now?
Some of us feel as though we didn’t make it. Some of us are wondering if we made it, but don’t know it? Some feel as though they have awakened, but have hit a plateau and are unsure of what to do next.
All of these examples are types of plateaus we must face in our diverse journeys. I can only offer advice on what I have personally dealt with and come to embrace in my own.
How To Heal A Broken Heart
It can be very difficult to heal from a broken heart. It is no accident that there are so many sad songs written about lost love, and so many stories in magazines and on talk shows about failed love relationships. Many self-help experts proclaim they have the true answer to how to heal a broken heart.
I know from personal experience that it can be one of the hardest things in life to understand and overcome. When I had my heart broken, I used music in healing process, because I could relate what the song was about. Some people prefer to write in a diary to process their thoughts and feelings; sometimes they even write a letter to the former lover to get a few things off their chest. Continue reading
Psychic Surgery
The subject of psychic surgery has always fascinated me. Although I have never personally witnessed this kind of procedure first hand, some 20 years ago I saw footage of a psychic surgeon in action in the Philippines. Despite the bad quality of the film, it really resonated as being genuine to me and not some parlor trick, as some skeptics would choose to view it.
The actual film I saw was presented in a small conference room of a local hotel by an enthusiastic spectator of the procedure, who brought back the footage from a trip he took to the Philippines. He explained how the skin of a patient is penetrated with this bare-handed psychic surgery through polarity, and that although it is based on energy and vibration, it originates from dimensions we don’t, as yet, understand.
