The Path Of Personal Development
Personal development is an essential part of our spiritual mission and soul purpose in this lifetime. It is a lifelong process of self-improvement that involves setting goals, taking steps towards realizing those goals, and learning from our experiences along the way. It is an ongoing journey to becoming the best version of ourselves.
To fulfill this mission, we must develop various life skills, knowledge, insight and wisdom by growing socially, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Personal development is thus a commitment to reach our highest potential in our current incarnation by striving to live a life of fulfillment and purpose.
The path of personal development is not the same for everyone. We all have unique personalities, traits, talents, interests, wishes and dreams. Our path is further determined by our values, beliefs, and life experiences, as well as our soul contract and calling in this lifetime.
It is a journey of physical, mental, and metaphysical self-discovery, in which we explore, uncover and evolve our true potential. It is a process of constantly learning and growing, which can take many forms.
To venture down our path of personal development we must take action and progress towards achieving your goals. It involves setting goals, creating plans, and taking practical steps to reach those goals. On a practical level this might include activities and pursuits like learning a new language, getting a degree, starting a business, achieving physical fitness, participating in a sport, volunteering, taking an art class, travelling abroad, pursuing a spiritual practice like meditation, divination, journaling, or dreamwork, and so on.
Are You Consciously Guided By Spirit?
Our spirit guides are constantly directing us towards our highest good and the fulfillment of our life purpose, whether we are aware of it, or not. Their guidance is just all the more effective and efficient if we are consciously aware and open to it on a daily basis.
We are all here to accomplish our soul mission in this lifetime. We agreed to come to earth for a particular purpose or calling. It is also my belief that if this mission is not accomplished, we will keep coming back to this plane of existence until we do.
Our spirit guides are with us every step of the way to assist and support us in getting these life goals met. Every day they coax us in the right direction with signs, synchronicities, gut instincts, hunches, ideas, thoughts, dreams, and inspirations.
Sadly, many people tend to be unconscious of the daily guidance of spirit, and to make matters worse, they also tend to ignore their gut feelings, signs, and intuitions. This often leads to poor choices and bad decisions, and sometimes disasterous, even life-threatening situations.
You see, spirit can only suggest, encourage, and recommend. Our guides cannot force us to do anything against our free will. Spirit can also not interfere in our lives and direct our choices without our participation and consent. In other words, our guides can only help us when we are willing to help ourselves. For the best results we must ask for guidance and support, and then be open to receive it.
Am I Really An Alien?
In June 2021, the US intelligence community released a long-awaited report on almost 400 sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), traditionally known as unidentified flying objects (UFOs, over the last several decades.
Why this information had been kept top secret all these years remains a mystery to me. But now that we have it out in the open, it confirms what many people believe: that there must be alien life forms or extraterrestrial intelligence in existence beyond our known universe. I believe these alien entities wish to have contact with us, or has already established some form of contact.
The idea of keeping all of this so secret sis not something that I simply cannot come to terms with. Why were we not told earlier? What could we have done with the information anyway? Panic? Get on a train, ship or plane to remove ourselves for possible danger? Where would we go? Since we cannot leave the planet, the secrecy never made sense to me.
I especially take issue with the pointless secrecy because of the assumption that had been made on our behalf that these alien life forms inevitably may present a major threat to us. Where did that idea arrive from? What is humanity’s prior experience with extraterrestrial beings that led so-called experts to this judgmental assumption?
My personal understanding of life elsewhere is entirely different. I have a complete and distinct memory of where I originate from. It is a place called Jute that it exists in another dimension. I also recall that Jute resonated in the most beautiful shades of blue. Interestingly, since I was a small child here on planet Earth, blue has always my favorite color.
Make Time To Listen To Your Heart
The heart is a wondrous place, the keeper of all your dreams, desires, hopes, and wishes. The heart is your protector and guide and the holder of your very own sacred flame.
No matter where we are in this life, or what role we have embraced as our life’s mission, we must always honor the calling of our heart. It’s built-in GPS will never lead us astray. The heart’s invitation is always one that guides us to our greatest purpose through the love of the Divine, love of life, love of self, love of others, and love of service.
There are times in life when the heart calls for us to make a sacrifice to bring to fruition a special dream or mission. But the fast-paced world we live in provides little time or space for the calmness necessary to hear the sometimes faint calling of the heart. This is why we must take time away from others to honor the commitment of the soul. It is as necessary as the medical student in the preparation for becoming a great surgeon.
For a tree to grow, a seed must first be planted, which requires retreating into the stillness of the forest or the garden, breaking the soil, and carefully nesting a seedling into the heart of mother earth. Similarly, to overcome the many distractions of our worlds, we must create the time and space to tune in to the song of our heart.
In doing so, we are honoring our heart, which requires consistent practice, beginning with baby steps. Over time, we can cultivate a spiritual practice of listening to the heart in much larger steps, and then bold, giant steps.
Mahatma Gandhi, the great activist, and humanitarian, once said that prayer, regardless of one’s religion or spiritual path, purifies the heart. Gandhi cultivated a deep stillness in his own life by making time to listen to his heart through the daily practice of meditation.
The New Earth Children
A phone reading with a long-standing client just a few days ago made me particularly aware the special souls incarnating in recent years.
The client used to be a regular at my home office years ago, until I relocated. Now we consult by phone. In those days she was approaching forty and in a high-powered job. She had been told by specialists that she had little hope of becoming pregnant.
However, about 12 years ago, the possibility of a pregnancy came up particularly strongly in her reading – more insistently than ever before. She dismissed the possibility after years of disappointment. Her sister came to me for a reading two weeks later and told me my client was still in shock after finding out that she was actually pregnant!
It was no easy pregnancy and at various stages she would come to visit me for readings, because she was curious about the little soul who seemed so determined to join her and her husband in this life. The readings revealed the old soul personality of her child and how he would be wise beyond his years. Her boy is now eleven years old and indeed wise beyond his years. He also has a master number 11 as his life path number.
Her reading recently reminded me of so many similar readings I´ve done for other parents who were to be parents of New Earth Children.
Over the years, I have encountered many spiritual teachings suggesting these ‘special children’ are playing an important role in the current global shift in consciousness and New Earth awakening. These new children have been arriving on the planet for several decades now.
In the late 80´s, a colleague of mine complained about the love-hate relationship she had with her husband. She also mentioned her eight-year-old son who was such a “wise little man” and how he would counsel them with profoundly sage remarks. “I cannot begin to imagine how this child was made by the two of us with all of our baggage,” she confessed.
Psychic Readings And Your Divine Life Purpose
I have found from many years of doing psychic readings an interesting commonality that ties all types of readings together. Whether someone is struggling with relationship problems, work and money issues, health challenges, or other difficult situations, once I get the answers to help resolve a current issue, there is always a deeper, spiritual message that is being offered to my clients.
I realized that once we get to the core of what is causing someone’s problem, or whatever initially brought them to me for a reading, within that core or root issue there is a doorway leading to my client’s gifts and life purpose.
At first, I wondered how this was possible, that each reading led us to the same place, but then one day it ‘clicked’ for me. It occurred to me that we are all here as equals and that we are all souls that came to earth in a physical body with our unique talents and a desire to grow spiritually.
Things that come up for us in this life, to challenge us, or people who we meet that serve the role of antagonist, are actually helping to liberate us in ways that may not make sense during times of strife or suffering.
Dr Michael Newton, hypnotherapist and author of the book Journey of Souls, writes about the time we are in spirit, in-between lifetimes, and that we all have a ‘soul pod’ we belong to. In that soul pod are other souls who are people that we travel with, through lifetime to lifetime.
Some of these souls we recognize the moment we meet them in human form. We typically have a strong attraction to them. They can be supporters and very loving family members, friends, or lovers, but they also show up as antagonists or enemies to trip us up, but help us grow.
Leaving Your Spiritual Footprint
A footprint is an impression left behind by a human foot or shoe on the ground or some other surface. If you have ever been at the beach, you have probably noticed that this is the one place where a footprint is so easily and readily left behind. It I also not too difficult to determine if the impression was left by a an adult, or a small child. But have you gone any further than merely noticing those footprints? Have you ever wondered where does the person live who left that footprint? What is their education and career? What is their current relationship status? What is the life and legacy embedded in each of those imprints?
Human souls also leave behind their ‘metaphysical footprint’ by fulfilling their spiritual calling and soul purpose in their lifetime. The more exceptional or extraordinary ones are written about in our history books. They are great teachers, prophets and spiritual leaders that have left a discernible legacy behind when they departed from this world. When any person takes on a cause, with sometimes the most forceful opposition, to create an new and improved world for the common good, it is always an indicator that a spiritual footprint is being made.
Saint Teresa of Calcutta, simply known as Mother Theresa, for example, is certainly a spiritual icon that has left a well-established footprint of compassion, kindness and charity that continues to be recognized all over the world. We do not expect her to have been a perfect person, but the sincerity and love that she professed for some of the most spurned and downtrodden cannot be denied by anyone. It is to me abundantly clear that she indeed left a footprint of love, compassion and acceptance which equates at the end of the day to her being totally connected to and aligned with spirit.
