What Is A Soulmate?
A popular question psychics are often asked is about finding one’s soulmate. During readings many clients want to know if someone is their soulmate, or when they will meet their soulmate. Some also believe they married their soulmate, until their spouse left them for someone else. How could that happen?
From a spiritual perspective, a soulmate is simply a person that you have a past life connection with. That person may have been your husband, wife, child, parent, friend or even foe in a previous life. Compare And Despair
Recently, I attended a Toastmasters meeting where a gentleman was delivering his first speech to this specific group – an ice breaker to have us get acquainted with him. Instead of the typical short autobiographical introduction this speaker chose to give us an overview of his philosophy of life.
He told his audience that he sees himself entering a new phase of his life right now. He spoke about how important it is to get to know yourself and to take care of yourself first and foremost, and to always live in the moment.
After the speech and applause, the toastmaster reflected briefly on what the talk meant to him as he had listened. He said it reminded him of a mentor who had once, many years ago, said to him, “Compare… and despair”. If in life you are constantly comparing yourself to others, or comparing what you have with what others have, or what you feel you lack, or need to achieve, then all that will do is bring yourself unnecessary despair. The Divine Grace Of A Soulmate Connection
It is a myth that everyone is supposed to meet a ‘soulmate’ in this lifetime. Don’t get me wrong, soulmate connections do exist, but this phenomenon is quite rare. It is a singular spiritual anomaly that is certainly not predestined for most of us.
In a world where intimate relationships have become extremely challenging to navigate, the search for the ever-elusive soulmate has become a contemporary obsession. We have co-created a modern society where detachment, loneliness and disconnection reigns supreme, despite our easy access to social media and communication technology. Against this background, the manic hunt for the ‘love of our life’ has become one of our generation’s most profoundly tragic acts of free will.
In my view, the most disturbing aspect of this ‘wild goose chase’ is the fact that it is so often encouraged, or even set into motion, by well-meaning psychic readers and relationship coaches! Don’t Panic, It May Be A Spiritual Intervention!
From the very start of my spiritual career, my guides taught me that in life we are given three things: opportunity, choice and free will. Simply put, when we make our choice from the options put to us, we exercise our right to free will and determine our futures, largely, ourselves.
While for most of us this is quite an empowering thought, there are times in our lives when spirit feels that we are very much on the wrong path and therefore will actually change our circumstances for us. How Will Saturn Return Affect Your Life?
The age of approximately 28 to 32 years is known as our “Saturn return.” Spiritually it is an exceptionally profound time for everyone. Astrologically it is when Saturn returns to the exact same placement it was at when we were born. Any lesson you have not learned, any challenge you have not faced, anything you have been in denial about will come forward in you life around this time, like it or not. This is why I tell people, “learn the lesson and learn it fast.” Avoidance, addictions and denial will not save you from your Saturn return. In fact, it will make it quite worse.

Sometimes Less Is More
In all the years I’ve been doing psychic readings the one question I am asked the most has always been: “What do you see and how do you know what message to relay to the client?”
Is it possible to give too much information to someone, and can it color the way an individual goes through their everyday life if you do? I believe so.
I can think of many readings where information came through that, had I told the person everything, would have only served to give them angst and grief. Had I relayed certain information, their life would not have been allowed to take its natural course. Lessons would not have been learned.
For example, one of my clients was going through a long drawn out, and very bitter, divorce that had sapped nearly all her strength and much of her faith. Do Not Fill Your World With Loneliness
Are you lonely? We all experience times when we actually choose to have some ‘alone time’, but loneliness is not the same as choosing to be alone. Loneliness is being alone, but feeling saddened by it.
My husband is currently in hospital here in Spain and I am in awe of the number of family and friends constantly visiting patients in hospital here. This is encouraged by the doctors as the best aid in speeding up healing. They must know that loneliness is a response to the need to belong. Interpersonal relationships give us emotional health and the basic need to belong is as fundamental as the need to breathe, sleep or eat. Continue reading
