Intuition

Better Intuitives

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comBeing intuitive is a personal identity and should not be shared with anyone else, as a personal space cannot be directed or instructed. This again is part of what good schooling and instruction at an early age and adulthood is about.

In all forms of intuition, apart from the instinctive need to survive, reason has to be lauded. I believe that many of us could use some formal teaching such as philosophy, literature or a formal mode of study to complement our intuitive selves to help us manage this type of ability, or any type of work. This is available to most of us, yet many of us are going via forms of hearsay in some form of another, and it would be most valuable to learn the art of logic. Mostly people now seem to gossip or talk, not read, and rarely research, and do not wish to study, and the need to actually express is needed to complement opinions not suppress them. This can be done with research and with reading, or perhaps with research often on the Internet. Continue reading

Pay Attention To Your Dreams

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI believe that all dreams have some level of meaning and value in our lives. Dreaming is not only the way the subconscious deals with our time-space, physical reality, but they often also have psychic or spiritual significance. I am a strong advocate of paying attention to our dreams, rather than just relegating them to the sidelines of our human experience.

Even our so-called ‘pizza dreams’ can hold significant meaning in our life. Pizza dreams are highly realistic and very bizarre dreams that we often believe actually happened when we wake up, despite them being outrageously improbable. They are called pizza dreams, because of the urban myth that we tend to have these disturbing dreams after eating too much pizza before we go to bed.

In working with dreams, the best thing you can do is to keep a record. Always keep a dream journal on your nightstand, or near your bed, along with a small, soft light and a pen. Whenever you awaken from a dream, write it down as many details as you can remember. This may initially only be a few key moments from the dream, but if you make this a habit you will eventually begin to remember more and more details from your dreams. Write everything down, no matter how weird or peculiar it may seem.

There are a few key things to remember when you begin the process of interpreting dreams. Firstly, intuitive dreams use symbolic language. There are a few general archetypes within dreams that are common symbols connected to the collective unconscious, but many symbols within dreams are usually individualized symbols. Angels Are Everywhere

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comA few weeks ago I was out running some errands. At a red light I saw a homeless man with his sign. It looked professionally made and I thought to myself that someone must have made that sign for him? The words Homeless, God Bless, Donate If You Can were printed in perfect block letters.

I then intuited who made the signs for him. I saw that his daughter-in-law was making it for him. That led me to wonder why doesn’t he just live with his son and daughter-in-law? I have seen him on that corner before and always assumed he lived at a homeless mission, or under a bridge somewhere. But this time I remote viewed and saw him living by himself in what was a fairly nice apartment. I wondered then why he was saying he was homeless, if he had a nice apartment? Continue reading

Shamanic Healing For Chronic Illness

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWhen treating chronic illnesses, such as depression or pain, we too often look only at the symptoms, and not the root cause. The fact is, most if not all of these conditions have at their foundation some form of loss: the loss of sensation, loss of control, or the fear of loss. For this reason shamanic medicine can be quite effective as a form of treatment.

Shamanism, the connection between the physical world and the spirit realms, is all about connections. As we look closer at chronic illness, we find that much of it is caused by a lack of connection: to our authentic selves, to our spirit guides, to nature, and to our intuition. This is whey shamanic healing can be of great value.

For thousands of years, before the emergence of modern medical practices, shamans were the healers and diviners of the community. Fortunately, their practice is as strong today as it was then.

A trained shaman is able to determine which type of healing we may need: soul loss or retrieval (often through past-life work), spiritual retrieval (a power animal, angel, or other spirit guide), or reconnection to the earth and spiritual realms. There are shamans with different specialties, just as we have physicians with different areas of practice. Continue reading

Is That Your Intuition Speaking?

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comDo you sometimes sense your thoughts are more than just thoughts? Do you sometimes hear your thoughts? Do you feel your thoughts? Do you know when it’s your intuition speaking? How do you know the difference between intuition and thinking thoughts?

There are many questions to be asked in order to understand and to allow yourself to become comfortable relating to and relying on that higher part of your consciousness. Your intuition is sometimes referred to as your ‘higher self’ – the all-knowing part of you.

The best way to understand and integrate your intuition into your daily thoughts and understanding of life, is to look back and observe yourself. We all use our intuition every day of our lives. Think about it. More often than not, when you make a decision, you are basing your decision on how you feel about the situation. Look back and see how many of the following questions fit into your life.

  • Have you known about future events before they happened?
  • Did you sense things going on with other people before they materialize?
  • Did you get information through physical sensations?
  • Did you feel physical sensations when you made a bad decision?
  • Have you felt physical sensations when you made a good decision?
  • Have you had an awareness that your intuition was speaking to you?
  • Do you sometimes get hunches about things that come to pass?
  • Have you checked in with your intuition when you wanted to know the answer to something?

Spirit Is Always With You

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comHow do you connect with the spirit inside of you? Ponder this question for a moment. Then shut your eyes, breathe deeply three times… and ponder this question again.

Spirit is always inside of you. It does not take a time out to go get a coffee, or have a nap. Spirit simply is a part of you that never dies. When you close your eyes and simply breathe, you will feel lighter. That is spirit trying to be more prominent than the ego. Spirit never causes stress, discomfort, unease or negativity. Spirit is pure 100% unconditional love, and every person has this inside of them.

However, as you move forward in life, ego will always try to override spirit, whether in decision-making or choices that are important (or simple). Ego can create discomfort, doubt, fear and the wrong type of attitude to live a spirit-filled, love-filled life.

How do you change these patterns? At least once a day, simply sit, breathe slowly, eyes closed, hands on lap. No parts of your body should be crossed, i.e. legs, arms or hands. Now feel the essence of your true spirit flowing in your body and around your soul. Feel the essence of goodness that comes to you from this energy. Continue reading

The Cat Whisperer

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI recently had to take my cat, Max, to the vet. He hadn’t been feeling well and I woke up one morning sensing I needed to call the vet. I am glad I did, as he had an acute urinary tract infection. Male cats are more prone to getting these type of infections.

His medical emergency took me back to a time when I first felt the need to adopt cats. My best friend, who was an up-and-coming veterinarian at the time, encouraged me to adopt kitties. I felt at the time I couldn’t even have just one or two, because I didn’t want the responsibility, but as the years passed, I wound up adopting six in total!

What was very special to me about adopting these fur babies, was that my vet friend passed away in 2007. Her death impacted me to the point where I became despondent, until I adopted my first baby in 2009 in her memory. The rest is history. I would often joke with my ex that it was my dearly departed friend’s fault for us having so many cats.

It seemed like we adopted one after the other in a short period of only two years. Max was the last kitty we adopted. I didn’t want him at first, thinking we already had too many as it was. My ex had asked me three times in one week if I wanted Max, as he knew the owners and they were going to return him to the shelter. His previous owners didn’t want another cat, since their first cat ran away and returned to their home one night.
