2017 Is A New Beginning
So many things happened in 2016 on a global scale that influenced the global conversation. This makes a lot of sense when you consider the Numerological implications of the year 2016.
Last year was governed by the number 9.
2+0+1+6=9
There are other year formats in many countries, but for the Western world, the numerological influence of 9 was certainly present. The number nine is ultimately a good number. It is associated with the beginning phases of manifestation, where thoughts become form, as seen in the tradition of the Tarot. It is the consciousness we need to become creators on a personal level, as well as on a global scale.
In 2016 the global conversation and consciousness has changed slightly because of this 9 influence. There were changes politically and socially that have caused many people to take a second look at their own lives and their contributions to our society. Continue reading
Set Your Intentions For The Highest Good
A message I just received from a friend and colleague, prompted me to write this blog. In a previous message to her, I had mentioned how my partner and I hadn’t quite nailed our niche place to settle, even after a major cross continent move over two years ago. She replied that over the past two years she has come to the conclusion that, despite her deep spiritual beliefs, the world has gone crazy. She is battling to find a reason why she is here, after all of her struggles and heartache.
So many spiritual teachings, including those found in A Course In Miracles, speak of how everything is just an illusion. How do we know what is real? How often have we have stopped to consider this? Being exposed to so much of what is going on around us, not just locally, but globally through social and other media, makes us question all the more. The Lightbringers And Earth Angels
Some people are highly attuned to their emotions, feel out of place in the modern world, and feel called to make a difference during their lifetime. Appropriately, some of these special souls are called Earth Angels or, alternately, Lightbringers.
We are surrounded these days by greed, selfishness, discrimination, and the many other symptoms of a world out of balance. It is said that it is the purpose of the Lightbringers to restore the harmonies that originally existed.
How do we recognize them? They are all sensitive and empathic types. They literally feel much more than the average person, and take everything to heart. It may be necessary for them to have more quiet or alone time for this reason. Continue reading
We Need A Critical Mass Of Love And Kindness!
In the 1950’s, Japanese researchers were studying a group of monkeys located on several Japanese islands. The scientists would regularly drop food onto the beaches for the monkeys.
One day, a female monkey picked up a sweet potato and washed the sand and dirt off in a nearby stream. Soon after, the mother of the juvenile monkey was also washing her sweet potatoes in the stream. In this unusual case it was a youngster had taught an adult and not the other way around, as is more commonly observed.
Over the course of the next five years, one by one, several of the other monkeys of the group also picked up the habit of washing off their sweet potatoes. The exact number is unclear, but something amazing is said to have happened – as if overnight, all of the monkeys were washing their potatoes in streams, and in the sea. The Courage To Live And Let Live
The only way we are really going to make the future work is by allowing others to do their ‘own thing’ in their own way. Our future survival and evolution as a species will not be found in sameness, alikeness, similarity, or coercion. Instead, we must build a new global civilization based on expanding diversity, variety, assortment and multiplicity. Yet, there is one fundamental condition – for it to be successful it must be achieved in harmony with others and our planet.
From the perspective of the old mainstream view of our world, such a future world of unhindered diversity appears quite impossible and non-sensical, because that would mean that everybody does their own thing in their own way. And that seems really counter-intuitive… even dangerous. A disaster waiting to happen!
History has taught us that individuals doing things their ‘own way’ eventually manifests itself as selfishness, greed, creed, personal preference, chauvinism, dogma and ego-centered beliefs – which has caused most of our wars, the establishment of our borders, the separation between the rulers and subjects, and the division between rich and poor. Understanding The Soulmate Connection
I have been doing love and relationship psychic readings for over 15 years, and I am often surprised at the misunderstanding many of my clients have of soulmate relationships. Our cultural myths and urban legends, whether they are found in books, television, or movies, often provide only a fragmented, romanticized version of the true soulmate journey. It is important not to project these notions of reality onto our partners, because these ‘ideals’ can often create unnecessary challenges in our romantic lives.
Mostly people agree that soulmate relationships are meant to be substantially fulfilling. However, fulfillment is only one of many characteristics of a soulmate connection. The Spiritual Significance Of 11:11
In my previous blog about Guiding Numbers, I explained that many spiritually aware people are frequently seeing certain number sequences; how these numbers could be affecting our lives; and what some of the sequences may mean. These number are typically seen on digital clocks, license plates, receipts, home addresses, text messages, and so forth. They are signs given to us by our spiritual guides, or the Universe. In the previous article I listed the most basic sequences of 000 through 999, but I didn’t elaborate much on 11:11. This number sequence is one of the most important to be aware of, in my opinion.
