Growing Up Psychic – Part 1
I was born into a psychic family who lived in a haunted home. I was unaware of this at first and knew nothing about mediumship, clairvoyance or the supernatural. But the quest for answers began at a young age. It was inevitable, since there was a lot of paranormal activity in our house and I had a natural curiosity about all things paranormal.
I didn’t know at the time about being gifted or communicating with ghost or spirits, but I did notice whenever I went over to a friend’s house that I could feel a difference in the energy at his house. It was nothing like what I experienced at my parents’ house. And when I went to both grandparents’ homes I could feel that something was trying to communicate with me there. Remote Viewing – Seeing From Afar
One of the many different forms of psychic ability is that of remote viewing (RV). Simply put, this ability allows us to see things or events that exist across time and space. In some ways, it is like watching a television, or listening to a radio thousands of miles away.
But how exactly does it work? The truth is, no one knows for sure. Much like dreams, RV is a way for us to cross the normal boundaries of perception and expand ourselves psychically.
Unlike its cousins, such as out-of-body experiences (OBE), dream walking, or deep hypnosis, RV is done while fully awake and conscious. Some say it is similar to astral projection. The phenomenon has been around since ancient Greece, and in more modern times various military groups and the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have used it strategically, such as seen in the popular film, The Men Who Stare at Goats. The Powerful Bond Of A Love Connection
I think we can really feel the intensity of true love the most when we are young and experience falling in love for the first time. The feeling is so strong and all encompassing.
When love takes over everything in the world just feels so much better. The grass is greener and everything is perfect and good, in a way that words simply cannot express. If you fall madly in love with someone, and you are really lucky and get to have and hold that love, it is even more profound and deep-seated.
I was fortunate to experience this once. It happened while I was working as a bagger at a local grocery store. I stood up, after stocking the paper bags, and suddenly locked eyes with a wonderful soul. Origins Of A Psychic
All my life I wanted to find out about the origins of my psychic ability. I wanted to know if it was handed down to me from my ancestors. This question was frustrating at first, because I kept hitting a brick wall. Until my wife got me one of my best birthday presents ever: a three month subscription to a genealogy service.
As I was loading the disk onto my computer, I felt a long and winding road to the truth was ahead. Which side of the family do I start with? My mother’s side, or my father’s? Understanding Psychic Readings – The Clair Senses
The most commonly known and used ‘clair sense’ in psychic and spiritual circles is clairvoyance. This particular gift is very common in individuals that have a specific soul mission to use their psychic gift predominately for readings. It has even become a universal term that often includes the other clair gifts.
The term “clairvoyant” comes from the French clair, meaning clear (from the Latin clarus), and voyant, the present participle of voir, meaning to see (from the Latin videre)*.
The clairvoyant is able to see beyond what can be seen by the physical eye and interpret vibrational realities that are non-physical, or have not yet manifested on the physical plane. Continue reading
Psychic Development 101
One of the most common misconceptions is that one needs to be “born” psychic to have the gift. The truth is we are all born with unique talents! However, like any other skill, practice is essential to honing and developing our psychic abilities.
There are many different kinds of psychic ability. Being able to discern future events, while usually thought of as a psychic’s bread and butter, is just one of these. For example, certain people may be able to telepathically communicate with animals, predict the weather, or have vivid dreams. If you are in doubt as to what your talent might be, think back to when you were small. Children are more psychically attuned than adults. Can you remember a time when you had a supernatural experience, or even more than one? This may very well be your gift. What It Means To Be Psychic
The word “psychic” gets tossed around a good deal in today’s world. Most people, when asked, would say that a psychic is a person who sees the future, or is able to connect with spirits. The truth is, it’s not quite so simple, but everyone is born with psychic abilities.
Psychic ability is the ability to interface with realms beyond the everyday. There are as many ways to connect psychically as there are realms! It may seem daunting at first to try and find your special gift or gifts. The best start you can make is to find a mentor. Remember when you learned baseball or piano?
