Dirty Little Secrets

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comSo many of us have secrets. Some sneak food, others drink alcohol, or they have a sugar habit, can’t have an orgasm, or they are depressed. More interestingly, in my experience, some people in the helping, motivation, exercise, or spiritual industry often have more secrets than most. They keep these secrets, because they have more to lose. If they are supposed to be selling a service or product that ‘works’… appearances matter (perhaps even more than the practice they sell).

Furthermore, people love to worship their idols and gurus… who are sometimes frail and imperfect humans themselves. We create heroes who in turn create themselves. Some of these ‘heroes’ come close to revealing themselves, most are only revealed after their death. In truth, we have no idea what other people are really going through in their lives. Nor do we typically want to know. Instead we prefer to worship some ideal. This helps us to further self-criticize, because we are not that ideal like them. And this in turn encourages everyone to keep more secrets.

How To Interpret Your Dreams

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comHave you ever had a dream so intense that when you wake up you just can’t seem to shake the memory, or the feeling of that dream? Maybe you find yourself coming back to it throughout the day, strangely affected by your nocturnal experience? Perhaps there are images you can’t shake, symbols you feel hold some meaning, but you’re just not sure. And then you ask yourself, what does it all mean?

Interpreting your dreams is a very personal experience. Dreams are a conversation with your subconscious, your higher self, and Spirit. Because of this, Spirit will use symbols, colors, places, people, and so on, that have specific meaning to you. It’s important to interpret your dreams through your own lens.

To get you started interpreting your own dreams, and engaging in this conversation with your higher self, consider the following guidelines.

The History Of The Ouija Board

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comIn my opinion the Ouija board is actually not a modern invention. The original concept of the board probably dates back to ancient Babylonian and Egyptian times. I imagine those who were familiar with the mysteries, made their own boards using clay tablets and a pendulum to collect information on just about any subject.

The Ouija board we know today was introduced in the late 1840s when Spiritualism became popular among occultists and secret societies. It was initially more complex, because their methods would involve knocking on the floor in response to letters being called out from the alphabet. Or they would use an intricate device that would have a pencil attached to it, allowing the spirits to guide the inquirer to the letters or numbers on the board.

In 1890, Charles Kennard and some of his colleagues, had the idea to turn this divination tool into a toy. They came up with the name Ouija, because it means “good luck” in Kemetic, the oldest known Egyptian language.

How To Trust Your Spiritual Teacher

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIf you have a spiritual teacher, how do you know you can trust her? Weren’t you told to trust yourself first? Wait, how do you know you can trust your therapist, or even your doctor? Especially with all the sexual assault cases coming to light these days, it is scary to think that someone who is supposed to be your protector, care-giver, or mentor will use that position to manipulate you into a situation that is abusive, sometime violently abusive. Thinking about this can be horrifying, but so is not thinking about it.

What about the idea ‘trust yourself’? The problem with just trusting yourself is that if you grew up in an alcoholic, drug-abusing, violent family, or in some of the more subtle dysfunctional family dynamics, such as having a narcissistic or wounded parent, your radar for self-care is damaged. You do not yet have the skills to discern what is healthy for you. Your brain and nervous system is literally wired for dysfunction as your default normal setting. This means you will choose the dysfunction you know, because it is all you know. You will seek out an alcoholic lover; or you will find jobs with narcissistic bosses, for example.

Coping With The Pain Of Loss And Grief

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comGoing through grief is a very natural response to loss. The more significant the loss, the more intense our grief will be. Grieving can result from the passing of a loved one, losing a job, divorce, loss of health.

Coping with loss can be overwhelming. We usually go through all kinds of difficult and very unexpected emotions – from shock to anger to disbelief. Sometimes we also feel guilty that maybe there could have been more one should have done. And then there is the sadness, which is hard to even put into words.

The pain of grief and bereavement can, and often does, also disrupt our physical health, making it very difficult to sleep, eat and function normally. It is very hard to think straight at such a time, but these are normal reactions to significant loss.

When Will I Find My Soulmate?

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThe questions I get most often in psychic readings is about finding true love and meeting soulmates. Why am I still single? When will I meet the love of my life? Will I be married? To be honest, I asked myself the same kind of question for decades.

When I got divorced at the age of 28, I had no idea that I would be single until the age of 52. Yes, I had several failed relationships during those years, and even when I connected with someone who I was certain was my life partner, things always seemed to fall apart. However, many years later, when I did meet my soulmate, it was incredible! Truth be told, I would go through it all again to end up in the relationship of my dreams, no matter how long it took.

The Right To Belief

click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAs with the waves of the seas and the motions the wind, there is a beauty in the rhythm of the regularity of belief. With this, people always seem to feel it is best to add an element of surprise to outwit their own survival, to outwit nature, or even God, and with that, tend to cheat their own survival.

Nature itself does not fear or care, nor does spirit fear itself. It may fear for us, in its own, benevolent self, but it has no personal concern for morals that we decree in order to trap or harm each other. It is as free and as spirited as itself, and does not care for our intellectual opinions. As such it also may not have as much of a concern with our egos, as we are its children.

But with our own gloating selves, and in being able to intuit or divine, and daring to outwit, declare, organize or define, we have not been able to decide why we want to control that which cares for us. Is it just that we have a misdirected relationship with ourselves, our families, our communities, our church? Is it simply a naive sense we have, that we need to control everything and everyone?
