Looking Forward To My Next Incarnation

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comI recently moved to an apartment building for senior citizens. And then it finally hit me – I am a senior now! I always feel like me on the inside, but our flesh-and-blood body goes through many changes during our lifetime. The ‘me’ that we always feel we are, is our ‘soul self.’

The other seniors that live here seem to be peaceful, while there also seems to be a lot of reflection on the past being done. Their auras are pretty easy for me to see. With a few of my fellow seniors I have seen a beautiful white ambience emanating from them.

Most people here are still pretty much independent. But where needed, many have nurses coming in to help them out. Also, to be honest, there are also people passing away from time to time. At first, this saddened and depressed me. It is almost like being on a train waiting to arrive at your stop. But then I thought… they are just changing trains to continue on their journey!

Dealing with Change – Insights From My Garden

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comBeing alive is about experiencing change all the time. The natural order of the world is change and transition. As I was working in the garden this past week, I was observing changes, as well as intentionally creating changes. I had cultivated some seedlings and it was time to transfer them into their new homes.

As I was taking these seedlings and transferring them into the garden, or into larger pots, I observed that they all experienced some sort of shock. Most of them drooped down and looked very sad after their move. Some of them recovered very quickly, within a few hours. Others recovered after a day or so.

Inventory And Choices

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comPeople often ask me how to make more progress on their spiritual path. Unfortunately the answer is always the same: time, practice, dedication and money. Money? Yes, even in the days of tribalism, the Shaman was always paid. Communities supported the shaman, to enable her to serve the tribe while keeping her own spiritual practice current and vital. So, yes, the currency of support these days is not food or shelter, but it is money.

As a professor at an art college, I used to observe that the students who were true artists often practiced their art in every spare moment. The students that only wanted a career in art did all they could do just to get by with their classes and training, so they could launch their ‘career’ and get what they wanted and desired, such as money, fame, status or lifestyle.

One is not better than the other, by the way. But this is about looking at what choices you truly make, not what you imagine. Take an inventory of where you spend your time, energy and money, and then look at it carefully, and learn. Own your choices so you don’t convince yourself or others that you are a victim.

By owning your choices, you will have the benefit of not manipulating others (consciously or unconsciously) by presenting as a victim that must be taken care of, and therefore cannot be held accountable. Not presenting as a victim means you will learn to ask for help and support in an honest and mature fashion, rather than singing a sob story to get help and support. The Key Elements To Infinite Possibilities

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWhat is it that your life is full of? What have you attracted, what do you wish to change? A trip into the mind is imperative to review our past experiences and emotions, because mindset is paramount for true success. Success in career. Success in relationships. Success in finances. Success in mind.

There are countless success stories of individuals who had fewer opportunities early in life. Some came from poverty, some from a broken home. They often provide clear evidence that through the mindset of knowing that our accomplishments rest in our choices, all possibilities can exist. For centuries sacred teachings have known these principles. We in the West have not embraced them until recently. Continue reading

Does Your Life Own You?

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAddressing our desires, needs, goals and actions is imperative as we go through life. Ideally this happens on a regular and consistent basis. Yet, life sometimes has the uncanny ability to delay our well-defined plans, or simply start it without us. It can also unexpectedly speed up our plans.

If you reflect on your current life status, are there aspects of it that make you cringe a little? Is your career, financial health, relationship, or family life in a space where you are just ‘getting by.’ Are you living month to month on your paycheck? Stuck in a stagnant relationship? Do you hate your job? Feeling overwhelmed?

If such feelings are prevalent, then it indicates that your life owns you, instead of you owning your life. Your life owns you when your everyday routine consists mostly of elements of necessity, not of desirous choice.

There is no doubt that modern society has burdened us with the pressures to succeed, to pay the bills, to live where we live. Navigating the meandering river of our material needs occupies much space in our mind. My brain hurts! Continue reading

Let Your Soul Decide

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comYou are not your thoughts, or your feelings. You are the soul who has the ability to observe and experience those thoughts and feelings. You’ve may have heard this before, but the concept is one that has had such a huge impact on my life, I simply have to share it!

When I made this realization, I had already been working on my own inner dialogue. Until I paid attention to it, I hadn’t even realized how harsh it was. Our minds are often full of chatter which, when left unattended, can become a breeding-ground for limiting belief patterns.

Devotions

Click photo to get a free reading at PsychicAccess.comDevotion is a part of every spiritual path. Before you recoil in horror, it would be good for you to understand you already practice devotion.

You are devoted to many things, many people, and many concepts. You are devoted to your children, mate, friends, pets. You are devoted to a career, getting ahead, losing weight, working out, or practicing yoga. You are devoted sometimes to drugs, alcohol, self-hatred, self-loathing, unforgiveness of yourself, the relentless worship of punishing yourself for your perceived or sometimes real misdeeds.

You worship. You do. You spend hours on your practice. It comes naturally now, but did not at first. At first you had to spend hours on your practice, until it became a habit. Not only a habit, it morphed into your very identity, essential to you, your way of being, how you make decisions, how your prioritize your life. You have been doing your practice so long you forgot you created it, and carried it out until you and your practice have become virtually inseparable. Continue reading
