Intuitive Children – Moving Beyond Labels
Children are naturally intuitive beings. They are born spiritually aware. We are all born with psychic ability, but as we grow up much of this ability tends to be lost by the time we reach adulthood.
As a parent or caregiver, it is important to nurture a child’s psychic gifts without labeling them. Labels such as “highly gifted,” or “Indigo,” or “Crystalline,” are descriptive, but may also harm the child’s psychic development.
Sometimes it’s tempting to place labels on children or guide them toward a path that may not even be right for them. Instead, adults need to take this spiritual journey along with their children. Encourage them to pursue their intuitions, and don’t try to discount or dismiss as ‘imaginary’ what they may tell you. Intuitive children are extremely sensitive to their environment, and they don’t miss a thing…even those things adults may not be able to perceive. Offering a permissive, open arena is key. Traits Of Your Aquarian Child
A child born January 20th to February 18th is an Aquarius. Aquarius children are smart. They are philosophers and are drawn to spirituality – usually non-conforming.
They tend to be studious, but struggle with following a teacher’s curriculum and prefer reading their own books and following their own curriculum.
Aquarius children can be stubborn. They know so much that they think they are always right. Letting them know that they are wise and wonderful, but not always right will help them let in other’s ideas.

Don’t Blame The Children
We are repeatedly hearing lately that the children of today no longer play outside; they are no longer physically active, like their parents and grandparents used to be. Supposedly all they do is watch television and sit around all day with computers, tablets and smart phones.
Perhaps some of this is true. But if so, why is that? Of course, it is absolutely natural for a child to have an abundance of energy. It is in the nature of youngsters to run around and be full of life, exuberant and active. But truth be told, when children act that way in today’s world, we often imply that they are maladjusted or have an ailment or disorder. Highly active kids have become the scourge of many parents and teachers in modern society – the dreaded “hyperactive syndrome” or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). There are many types of spiritual practices that will bring alignment to your life. Spiritual practices are the methods by which we understand the inner world, and learn just how much impact our inner world has on the outer world.

Divine messengers and emissaries, the Archangels are the foremost of the host of angels, and they help and guide us in our daily lives. Although they are established in many religious traditions, anyone may call upon them for assistance.
Most of the Archangels have names ending in “-el,” which means “of, or in God.” Though the spiritual traditions debate how many Archangels there are, the following are some of the most well-known to humanity.

Ghostly Encounter At My First School
My fascination with the paranormal created quite a bit of mayhem when I started school. I was going to the same school where my sister and older brothers went before me. I had one older brother who still went to the same school at the time, and he kind made a point of it that when I saw him at school I was not to bother him. My brother was also the one who told me about the old annex building at school being haunted. The annex building used to be the original school house for one of the first schools in Columbus, Ohio.
I remember meeting my teacher on the first day and she seemed pretty nice. It made me feel better about the ghost stories my older brother told me. I was not keen to go to school at first. Helping A Young Psychic Develop
A young person with a psychic gift must be recognized early on, and nurtured in their development. If not, they may experience a lot of confusion and even trauma. Their gift must be seen and experienced as a blessing, not a curse.
My niece Rachel was one of the more fortunate. She clearly had a gift from a very tender age. When she was a little girl I would give my brother and sister in-law some time off by babysitting Rachel and her older sister. Every time I would go over to their house to watch the kids, Rachel didn’t want me to read her normal children books. She would grab the family photo album and look specifically at old pictures of deceased family members. She would look at these photos with much interest and talk to the people in them as if they were sitting right in front of her. Continue reading
