When we are young and inundated with life, wrapped up in the goings on of early adulthood, we sometimes miss important moments. But fortunately we can sometimes go back and touch on those things with our mind that we didn’t take the time for during those early years.
For example, I was thinking recently about a friend I used to go visit a lot when I was younger. She was from another country and her parents were much older than most who had a 15-year-old child.
We used to have sleepovers. One memory that stands out is waking up at her house one particular morning and looking out her bedroom window. It was late fall and I remember seeing her father sitting on a chair in their backyard, near the edge of the woods. He was playing a musical instrument which was some sort of Native American flute. Feeling a little stressed, disconnected and alone? First you’re not alone. And second, don’t worry, you’ve got this! Just like your computer, perhaps what you need is a spiritual re-boot. It’s time to reconnect with your spiritual self.
Sometimes fear of the unknown, the stress of the day, a certain season, such as the winter holidays, or anxiety about things that seem to be out of our control, can feel quite overwhelming. Here are some ways to become a little more connected to your spiritual self.

Christmas music was playing everywhere on San Francisco’s Union Square, bringing the holiday spirit alive. As usual Union Square bustled with energy. It’s always exciting to observe. The ice skating rink in the middle of the square is a popular tourists attraction, and every year at this time the air is ripe with the holiday spirit.
A larger than life Snoopy (Charlie Brown’s pet beagle in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz) decorated the entrance to Macy’s department store. It was next to a brilliantly lit Christmas tree, with the word BELIEVE formed by tiny, bright white lights streaking across the entrance to the store. Read the rest of this entry »
I decided to do a deep meditation, connect with my higher self and ask Spirit to contribute to writing this blog. I asked how people all over the world can achieve peace this holiday season and throughout the rest of the year. Here is what Spirit revealed to me.
Think about this past year, and make a list of those that were naughty and nice to you. Pray for both. Ask for happiness, joy and goodwill to enter everyone’s lives, and then also visualize this. Visualize each person and open your heart. Wish each of them goodness. Read the rest of this entry »
Energy protection is one of my passions. I take it very seriously. It is vital for our health and mental well-being, so we take the time to do things that will help promote our energy, health, happiness and mental clarity, right? Why then do we still find our energies being drained sometimes? Often times we don’t even realize who, or what is causing this drainage.
My grandma’s fingers are so badly crippled that she cannot text, so she asked me to do her a favor and just send a message to someone on her behalf. I knew in my heart that if I did send this for her, it would be an opportunity for the receiver to throw negativity my way, or rather attempt to. So, I kept putting it off, but she kept begging me. You are most likely familiar with the Law of Attraction and the notion that positive or negative thought will attract likewise energies or results. In other words, you ‘get out what you put out.’ But did you know that this principle applies just as much to our love lives as our work, money, and other aspects of our lives?
When looking for a romantic partner, people tend to focus on the superficial: appearance, style of dress, social status, income level, and so on. We may say that we want a mate who is active, happy, and successful. But looking in the mirror, how much do those criteria describe us? If we are lazy, unkind, or cynical, the Law of Attraction mandates that inevitably, the same type of person will be drawn to us. Read the rest of this entry »
One of my teachers used to say, on multiple occasions, that we are on this planet to bless, prosper, and honor each other. There is value in honoring those around us. A Course In Miracles says that every interaction that we have is quite literally an opportunity for relationship, and this is very true. I have worked with several clients that say that they are starved for love, however, after channeling for their situation, it is very common to find that what they seem starved for they are often withholding from others.
Channeling for many years, I have received one consistent spiritual message relating to the human experience: desperation can never lead to any kind of fulfillment. When we are desperate for something, whether it is a relationship, more money, more free time, and so on, we will often miss opportunities if we are desperately looking for something we assume isn’t there. It may seem as if things are very erratic on this planet at this time, but trust and know that all is unfolding perfectly. All is opening. Feel yourself being grounded, Mother Earth assisting in creating a beautiful framework for you to stand upon. Grounding yourself in strength, in serenity, in your power.
For as we have reminded you many times before, when you get caught up in the drama of the planet, in the political systems, in the natural disasters, in the chaos around you, you lose your footing. You become unsure, insecure and fearful, and ultimately powerless.
This is a natural ego reaction. This is the default your physical being used to run on. But no more. You are being rewired. Each and every day. Each and every time you listen to our voice, to spiritual knowledge, spiritual truth, you are aligning with your Soul, your Spirit and the Universe beyond. Read the rest of this entry »
