Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life
All of us have had at least one day in our lives when we’ve done nothing but talk down to ourselves: we’re not good-looking enough, or wealthy enough, or talented enough. It’s okay, once in a while, but for some this habit becomes a lifelong form of self-torture. It becomes a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy.
Did you know the same thing happens when we focus our energy, and our self-talk on the positive?
No matter your belief system, positive thinking energy is good for you: it will increase your mental clarity, boost your immunity, and help you live a longer, more fulfilling life. It is beneficial to see the glass as half full. Like a mirror, the universe reflects back what we put out to it. Ever heard the saying “garbage in, garbage out?” The same is true of our thoughts. What we focus on becomes our reality … whether this is negative or positive. Continue reading
Emotion, The Key To Creating Your Desires
I recently ran into my good friend Susie, whom I had not seen in a while. After exchanging the usual pleasantries, Susie told me how she was not so happy with her present circumstances, especially since she had paid a substantial fee to attend a course on how to manifest success in particular areas of her life.
The course promoted the use of a vision board. The idea was to focus on what her actual desire was and then create a visual of this intention. For example, if she wanted a new home she was to cut out a picture from a magazine that closely resembled the home she would like to own, and then she had to place that on her vision board. The same would be true if she wanted a new car. If it was a new relationship she was seeking, she could cut out a picture of a happy-looking couple and add it to her dream board. Continue reading
Vision Board Magic
I am more and more pleasantly surprised at the number of clients who are making their own vision boards with great success these days. Yet, I still suggest creating a vision board to many customers who feel it is their lot in life to be poor, unhappy, lonely, or cheated on by a partner.
Often people don’t even realize the extent to which they affirm the negative. I find myself cringing, because in essence they are confirming that the things they really don’t want is part of their destiny. So, for starters, I usually ask them to observe their dialogue and to focus on replacing any negatives and ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ with a positive. Often many years of stating negative words need to be re-formatted in order to manifest the life your truly desire. Continue reading
Loving Yourself Unconditionally
The first person any of us learns to love is our self. And that’s how it should be, even if many of us forget how to do that somewhere along the way.
We live in a culture which is often harsh, judgmental, and narrow-minded, causing many of us to stop loving ourselves. Everyone has had a time when they felt “less than”, or imperfect. This becomes a snowball effect where we gradually put ourselves down all the time. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
How can we expect to show love for anyone else if we do not first love ourselves? So many of us think of love as an abstract “thing.” Love is not a thing; it’s an action. We need to make it a part of our conscious thought. Unconditional love of self is the basis of all healthy relationships. Continue reading
The Twelve Archetypal Secrets Of Sacred Love
The need for true love and meaningful romance is a profound longing we all share as spiritual beings in human form. But finding the love of your life is not an easy feat in this day and age. Yes, the pursuit of romantic love is certainly not for the weak and cowardly.
I have heard many weary love pilgrims claim they have called off the search. Many even choose to believe that they no longer want an intimate relationship with anyone; they are completely content to remain single and unattached for the rest of their lives. Who needs a soulmate after all, right? The truth is that we all share a deep-seated need for affection and authentic connection with that one special mate. And deep down we all know it. The Powerful Art Of Daydreaming
I was frequently reprimanded in my school years for daydreaming. My eyes would glaze over as I gazed into the distance, and I know it amused other kids in class!
Research has revealed that brain activity actually increases for the day-dreamer, and, as our minds drift aimlessly, we access problem-solving areas of our grey matter.
I learned too, that our intuition is our imagination, so as our mind wanders, we allow creativity and psychic impressions to be channeled through from our higher selves, or from our spirit helpers.
Next time you have a big project to deliver, you may be surprised at the improved results should you allow your mind rest in between intense periods of concentration. We often get our most brilliant ideas when we are doing something mundane that takes little concentration, like taking a shower, for example. Continue reading
Using A Wand To Enhance Good Intention
I like to envision my wand as an energy tool which harnesses and directs good intention, as a means of bringing about change in myself, another person, a pet, or a situation.
I use my wand mainly to project healing energy onto a person who happens to be in a healing session with me, or I use it remotely, using a photo or an item belonging to the recipient of the healing. With the help of my wand, I project healing to shift blocks, or to heal wounds; even to work on pulling out pain or negativity. When I do a healing session, which involves pulling out any negativity, I ensure any negative energy is transmuted by asking for help from my spirit helpers. Then I also offer a prayer for the violet flame to transmute that negative energy, and finally, on cleaning the wand itself. Continue reading
