Meditation is vital in developing your psychic abilities, as it develops your ability to switch your brainwave states while remaining fully conscious. Frequent meditation specifically helps you achieve and sustain an alpha brainwave state where psychic information comes easier than in the normal waking state of beta.
The theta brainwave state is where most of us fall asleep, but some experienced meditators can achieve this state and still remain aware. This is the state that a lot of mediums are in when they communicate with the dead. I saw an episode of The Dr. Oz Show where he had Teresa Caputo, the “Long Island Medium” hooked up to a machine that measured brain waves (messing up her hair in the name of science) as she read for the audience. She was in a theta brain wave state while she got the messages.
I don’t bill myself as a medium, but I have had some remarkably clear messages from spirit as I was beginning to fall asleep, in that in-between sleep and awake state. Lately, I have been working on extending that state of mind as I wake up, to stay in that theta state as long as I can and see what information I can receive. Read the rest of this entry »
When we become silent within, we can enter into an alpha state that takes us into a deep meditative state. We don’t force thoughts out so much as just allow them to come and go. In this altered state of consciousness we connect with a higher frequency, one of complete bliss and sense of spiritual connection.
If we set an intention, while going into such a meditative state, we can have a ‘line in the water’ to connect with our loved ones who have crossed over. I have helped many clients connect with their loved ones after their passing. I often share with them some simple things they can do to open the door for an opportunity for their loved ones to come through. Read the rest of this entry »
While meditating one afternoon and deep in the alpha state, I heard a male voice say to me: “You need to work, because someone needs you and needs to hear the message that you were given last night.” I was not feeling very social and certainly not feeling much like working, but the voice was crystal clear.
I kept meditating and let it soak in. I mentally asked this voice to show or tell me how and what could this message be? Then I immediately saw an image of my dream journal.
Once conscious, I went over in my mind what I had just heard. Then I went to my room and grabbed my dream journal, which I keep by my head when I sleep. I always keep a clip on night light, so that I can see when I’m recording all my dreams – I often record them throughout the night. Over the past ten years I’ve gotten really good at waking myself up after a really good dream and writing down all I can remember. Read the rest of this entry »
There is one power far greater than any power in the universe and that is the power of love. No one can break that cord between you and that someone special. Once a love that deep is established, no matter what happens in life, there will always be those feelings tugging at your heart strings and you will always and forever be connected to that person.
We all experience many incarnations, but we don’t keep reincarnating into the same world. We go to different worlds to perfect our love for the Almighty. It cannot be accomplished in just one lifetime.
When we gravitate to a certain individual it is because we have a ‘love cord’ connecting us to that person. It’s like two magnets – we either bounce off each other or we attract each other instantly. Read the rest of this entry »
I love dreaming, because it’s like a mini-vacation! I lucid dream all of the time. Many times I will dream of someone who will come to me the next day, always in the same manner in which I had dreamt they would.
I record all of my dreams, because I find it helps me to remember my dreams and not miss the very smallest details. I think it’s so vitally important for everyone to record their dreams, because it opens up one’s psychic awareness.
Dreamtime is the most alive we will ever feel while we are alive. The only other time we feel more alive is when we die and leave our earthly shells; when we depart from this weighed-down realm. Read the rest of this entry »
I remember going outside and just basking in the light of the Moon. I remember waiting for it to be full and then putting a big bucket of water in the garden. I would let the light of the Moon reflect on the surface and I would prop up my feet on either side of this and just go into the alpha state and meditate.
To this day I will wash my precious stones, like my moonstones and agates, with salt water. After that, on a Full Moon, I will let them absorb the light. I feel it recharges and cleanses them.
I always agreed with the school of thought that the Moon affects the fluids in our bodies, just like the tides of the ocean. I also view the Moon as a lovely lady who is in charge of our emotions and feelings; she is the ‘bringer of moods’. Read the rest of this entry »
