It is so very cool what miracles can happen when we take the time to relax and become aware of our surroundings, and our psychic antenna is open to connect with those who are on the same frequency.
I was at the beach over the summer, sitting on my beach towel in a deeply blissful, meditative state of mind. I had my umbrella set up, and a cooler with some water and healthy snacks – totally prepared for a relaxing day of doing absolutely nothing!
I took some deep breaths and looked out over the horizon, and focused on the waves. I was allowing whatever personal spiritual messages might come to my awareness. I was very much connected to what spirit was wanting me to know. Whatever is meant to happen will happen, but only in Divine Timing. We can never force anything, but all good things do indeed come to those who relax and allow the ebb and flow to reveal everything in perfect timing.
‘Empathic energy reading’ is a term I frequently use to describe the work I do. I was born empathic. That means that I can feel what others feel. I also know what people are thinking and basically can read their thoughts from an energy standpoint.
Don’t ask me how I do it, I just do. I am not unique. I have several family members who can do the same. Sound crazy? Maybe it is, but it works just the same.
Reading other people’s energy is something we all do. Ever walk into a room and got the feeling that you were not welcome? Well, that was empathic energy reading at its best. We all have the ability, but learning how to correctly read what you are feeling, and taking your fear and ego out of the equation, is a challenge. Read the rest of this entry »
Many people encounter negative energies in their workplace. Some of my clients have experienced co-workers who are major backstabbers, employers who treat them unfairly, and just a generally negative vibe altogether! There are, however, some spiritual things you can do right now to protect yourself and your energy in such circumstances.
The Universe sometimes is using people, places and things to tell us to either make changes in our own lives, or move on to another place of employment. This is where a good psychic advisor can help you determine whether you should stay, or go. The point is to pay attention to the signs that show up in your life.
In the meantime, it is good to use the powerful energy of the Universe, and the spiritual and metaphysical tools at your disposal, to help you get through these times of turbulence. Here are some psychic protection tips I have personally used with success in my life. Read the rest of this entry »
Recently, I posted on social media about my daughter’s graduation, when she was awarded a degree in Psychology with high honors from a well-known university. I was really proud of her, and wanted to share it with the world.
Many friends and family commented on the post, with congratulatory excitement and kind remarks. But later that day, I noticed there was also a hurtful comment on that same post from my mother.
In the post I had misspelled the words summa cum laude and my mother’s comment read, “Ask your daughter how to spell summa cum laude.” That was it. It seemed short and cold. My heart sank. Not only from the public embarrassment of her comment, but more so from the insinuation that I lack intelligence. Read the rest of this entry »
Work, family, friends and intimate relationships can take their toll on everyone, but can send an empath into a tail spin. It’s crucial for an empath to be clear which feelings and emotions are coming from them, as opposed to those coming from someone else.
Empaths have been compared to sponges soaking up all the energy and feelings surrounding them. Sooner or later the sponge becomes saturated and cannot absorb any more. Instead of finding a spiritual practice that resonates for them, some empaths will shut down or self-medicate with food, alcohol or excessive caffeine in order to feel relief. In the few months I have been with Psychic Access, I have had such a warm welcome from clients, fellow readers and the rest of the psychic team, that it feels like home already. And the more I feel settled, the more the readings flow and are affirmed in reality.
Recently, I was surprised by three of the most unlikely of clients calling in to say thank you, which was such a gift. By unlikely I mean, clients who were at first highly dubious of things that have come through in their readings. Thinking about those calls started me musing on the nature of readings, and the necessity for staying in integrity as a psychic reader.
My commitment is to only ever read with integrity, by conveying only what I am shown by guides – good or bad. Sometimes, as an empath, this can be challenging when it is not what the person wants to hear – however kindly I may relay the information, and however much I foresee the bigger picture leading to a better place. I used to work at a beauty salon and spa, where the energy amongst the staff was highly toxic. We were a group of women who ideally could have come together in harmony and make others feel amazing, but that wasn’t the reality.
Initially, I was friendly and open, because I wanted to get along with my co-workers. They all smiled at first and made me feel welcome, but in time they began to show their true colors, which turned out to be less friendly and welcoming.
Eventually it no longer was a place where I wanted to be every day, but the money was great, especially during the holiday and bridal season. So, I had to make it work for the time being.
Every day, I was feeling out of place and exhausted by the time I got home from work, so I decided to do something about it. Read the rest of this entry »
My mother was in some ways a woman of the times. She hauled water from a well to feed and clean her children, as well as her home. She also made her own bread and jams from the local berries we picked. She also put up preserves for the winter and grew her own vegetables.
Just outside our backdoor was my mother’s vegetable garden, and the shed where she had to take the wood from for the big kitchen stove. Daily, my mother would come out of the house to complete her chores, and to this present time and I can clearly recall a blue jay bird that used to squawk at her. It was not just idle chat on the blue jay’s part. He would squawk, my mother would respond, and it always appeared as if he could completely understand what she was saying.
