The Ghost Children Of San Antonio, Texas

Get a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comSince it was Halloween a few days ago, I thought a ghost story would be appropriate. Although I could probably write a blog a day for months on my experiences with ghosts, I’ve chosen my favorite ghost story to share.

It happened around 18 years ago, while I was visiting a friend in San Antonio, Texas. I dropped my friend off at work and picked up her sister Lydia, who was from Texas.  We set out to see the sites.

After seeing the Alamo and the River Walk, Lydia suggested we go see Mission Park located off of Military, a major, busy street in San Antonio. Lydia proceeded to tell me the story of a bus load of 1st and 2nd graders, some 50 years earlier, whose bus got stuck on the railroad tracks. The story goes that a train came and hit the bus, killing the children. Continue reading

Psychic Gift Could Be Hereditary

Get a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comHave you ever wondered if psychics are born, or do they become psychic? How do some psychics receive their gifts? To be honest, I have often wondered how I got the gift of being a psychic.

It is my belief that having a psychic gift can be hereditary. I know this, because I am one of  several third-generation psychics in my family.

My father’s side of the family is of German-Swedish origin and my mother side is Native American, specifically from the Blackfoot tribe. When I did research on both sides of my family, I discovered that there were cousins and distants relatives on my mother’s side who are also psychic. My mother was also psychic and she brought me up to be proud of my heritage. My mother still visits me in spirit. Continue reading

Dust In The Wind?

Get a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comI watched the movie 2012 for the first time… would you guess it… the very day before the first earthquake hit in Japan! I couldn’t believe my eyes, watching on CNN the earth breaking in half just like in the movie. Houses were being washed away and lives taken within a blink of an eye.

For some of us this news came as a shock, but not as a surprise. Many spiritually aware people all over the world had been on edge lately. Just like the animals, we feel it, we have an innate sense that things are a bit ‘off’.

After the news broke, I was feeling the need to do something to help out. I make scarves for children and I figured for every one that I make and sell I could donate half of the profits and send it to a proper cause, that I know will go directly to help in some small way. Every bit does help. Continue reading

Teaching Others How To Treat You

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comDo you also believe that we teach others how to treat us? It is a motto I have religiously adhered to for most of my adult life. However, I must add that I have made some radical changes to my ‘teaching strategy’ over the years, and this change in my approach has brought me much inner peace and harmony with others. I have learned that we can ‘teach others’ with much less fuss and drama.

In my early adulthood I used to take a firm stand on just about everything and everyone who I felt were out of line. I am someone who often feels compelled to stand up for others, as well as for myself and my beliefs. I also have this annoying habit of constantly wanting to side with the ‘underdog’ in any given situation. Like most empaths, I just cannot come to grips with any form of injustice or underhanded behavior. Circumstances that are unfair, dishonest or cruel really trouble me, and people who are unreasonable, inconsiderate or simply mean have always been one of my ‘pet peeves’. Continue reading

Everything Changes, Or Does It?

Get A FREE Psychic Reading Right Now at PsychicAccess.comNature always inspires me to think deep thoughts. I often find myself really pondering things that maybe I wouldn’t have, had I not taken a moment to stop and look out my window.

I was thinking about the changing of the seasons today. Change is all around us constantly.

Consider what we hear daily. We say things like “nothing stays the same” and “it’s a change for the better”, or “change is inevitable”. There is also the popular phrase “don’t be afraid of change”. With so many things changing around us, isn’t it a wonder that we have a never-changing God? He also gave us his unchanging Word in the Scriptures, for us to learn more about Him. Continue reading

Movie Psychics: Villains, Freaks, Heroes

Psychics and mediums in the movies are traditionally depicted as shrewd, flaky or simply evil. To this day it remains the exception to the rule to find a decent film or television show that genuine psychics will be able to relate to. Very few films in the archives offer a reasonably authentic representation of the ordinary psychic’s true life experiences.

The range of stereotypical stock characters in film is almost never-ending: from the typical dumb blondes and computer-hacking geeks, to corrupt Catholic priests, zany black cops, Las Vegas mobsters, flamboyant gay men, conspiring politicians, sex-obsessed teenagers and bombastic corporate executives with fat cigars.

Of course, psychics and mediums also make the perfect stereotype. We are ideal to be cast in the role of the satanic villain, or merely as an odd source of comic relief. For example, Whoopi Goldberg’s madcap portrayal of Oda Mae Brown, the fraudulent medium in Ghost (1990), was so well-received after the film’s release that she won a Golden Globe for her hilarious antics, as well as an Academy Award!

Hollywood relies on these stereotypes to increase box office success. Portraying misrepresented characters in a one-dimensional manner has a much wider audience appeal. Sadly, it also leads to ignorance, misconception, prejudice and discrimination. Continue reading

All That Cumbersome Impossibility

Visit PsychicAccess.comIf you can change just one thing about the world we live in, what would it be?

The typical response from most people would probably be something along the lines of a standard beauty pageant response, such as ‘world peace’ or ‘global warming’.

Sure, these are all noble causes, but do they solve more than one problem?

What if there was an often overlooked and a very basic adjustment we could all make, something that could potentially revolutionize the society we live in? I mean, what would happen if we all simply gave up our attempts at trying to control, manipulate and coerce others into being what we expect them to be, or to behave in ways we expect them to? It may not solve all our problems, but it might just get us much further than we currently imagine possible. Continue reading
