When you sit down to accomplish a task, you call into play all of the faculties of your mind. You use what you have learned in the past.

You know how to do your own research and you apply skills, like organization, to the project, to begin fleshing out that which has started as an idea in your mind.

When you are using all of these faculties, you are engaged in a highly mental activity that lights up areas of your brain and brings additional knowledge and use of words, language and mathematics.  Skills and knowledge work parts of your brain that need to be worked, like exercising a muscle, so it stays strong and healthy.

However, you must also integrate into your day moments of peaceful surrender, where you let go of all the mental activities that you have been engaged with and you release them temporarily. Read the rest of this entry »

Live, love, laugh, be alive, now! The present moment is where all joy, all blessing, all comfort is found. In this moment, no matter where you are or what you are doing, you are fully living… experiencing sight, sound, feeling, smell, and taste.

In this moment you are moving your body, or you are resting and feeling your body move you from the inside. It is never more important for all people to understand that this moment is all that there is. This is where everything happens and where all dreams are born – from this present moment.

Imagine taking a ride through your body as a blood cell, stopping at various organs and cells along the way to deliver oxygen and nutrients, and to pick up waste. During that visualization you will realize how utterly magical you are! As a being of divine grace, you are endowed automatically from the moment of your first heartbeat with an amazing ability to just be. You are. This in itself is enough for now. When you get ready to go on a trip somewhere, you pack up your things and prepare to bring with you only those things that you will need on your journey. You don’t bring everything you own, just what you need.

Packing up is a method that was introduced to me during a meditation class I was attending this winter.  The angels have decided that this is a good analogy and so they give you this message:

“Bring to your mind those items that are outdated, that are worn out, old, useless, dated, dusty, ill-fitting, uncomfortable, and undesirable. Bring those items out of your closets, your cupboards, your rooms and attics and basements. Read the rest of this entry »

As an Angelic channel, I often will open up a dialogue with my Angelic community that consists of my Angels, several different groups of consciousness, Ascended Masters and other benevolent beings.  The following message was communicated to me today:

Q: Dear Angels, what information is important right now for all of us to focus on?

A: Letting go. Just as you have been studying and learning of the life of Francis of Assisi, know that this lesson is meant for you now. Letting go of all expectations; of your fears, doubts and worries. Letting go of your false self to embrace your true self. This is the lesson today. Brothers and sisters, I come to you today in the spirit of sharing what I have come to learn is the most important lesson of all, being authentic and true to yourself. Read the rest of this entry »

I was listening to a radio interview on National Public Radio’s Talk of the Nation program a few weeks ago and I became caught up in the topic of discussion.

The show was about the long term unemployed and how the longer people are out of work, the less desirable they become to employers.

The guest went on about the cycle that perpetuates this condition of unemployment and how difficult it is for people to break free to find meaningful, well-paid employment. Various people called in to talk about their own experiences.  Even employers called in to explain how the overwhelming response to job openings leaves them no choice but to “weed out” people who have long gaps in their employment record. Today, as always, I was speaking to my Angels and asked them what message they had for us.  This is what was channeled to me:

“Looking into a mirror, we see many things. Some people look into a mirror and see themselves just the way they are and they like what they see.

Others see every little imperfection and talk about it with others so as to draw attention to their supposed flaws.  When you look into a mirror what do you see?

When Angels look into a mirror we see a beautiful golden light, figures of people and wings that soar up high and outward in an eternal embrace.  When we look into this mirror of our souls, we see all the beauty that is us, all the glory and majesty that went into making us and we see the infinite love that carries us and creates our beautiful golden and feathery wings. If there is one thing I have learned from talking to Angels, it is that there is so much we still don’t know about life. I’m talking about life as we know it, but also life in a world that is non-material.

Every time I do an Angel reading for someone, I learn something new. Just last week I was doing a reading for someone who wanted to hear from her father. I asked the Angels if they could facilitate any messages from the father to his daughter.

At first there was silence. I started to feel like I had lost my ‘connection’. But then an image of a man working on a bicycle appeared, and after that an image of him happily riding a bicycle. I then had that direct knowing experience of feeling what he was doing. The Angels answered me by saying he was working in his shop and was “busy”, but then he decided he could spare a minute to say hello and talk.
