We watched as the 15 month old child explored the world around her on wobbly legs, taking a few steps and then lowering herself back to the carpet to crawl again. She probably is yet unaware that she is typically the center of entertainment at family gatherings.

As time went on, we laughed with her and egged her on to give the upright position another try and she did, time and time again, making her way back and forth between her mother, her grandfather and me.

To inspire her to walk again I turned on the radio, remembering she loved to bounce and dance to the music. She immediately stood up, obviously realizing that it was more fun to dance with me while standing. She had let go of my hands and was bouncing and clapping as she headed unsteadily toward the empty lawn chair on the enclosed porch speaking and singing in baby talk. Read the rest of this entry »

During your lifetime on your Path, you are striving toward Spiritual Mastership. As you are learning about your Divinity and True Identity, and to walk in the Light, you will be casting off all limitations of the human condition – the mundane, the dross of co-created manifestation operating here on Malkuth (Planet Earth).

Your weighty human armor, shield and weaponry will morph and peel away like crusty scales, or layers of onion skin. You will release so much, that the You will be borne like a sweet ripened fruit and the Holy Divinity that is you will be revealed.

This is a process that is set into motion as you embrace gratitude, and become thankful and full of appreciation for everything you are given. It includes all that you project or perceive in your life as good or bad. You are on the way to seeing them as tremendous gifts. This is so, because it never is about what happens to you in your life, or world affairs, but only how you handle it. Are you aware that it’s the end of an era and your New Year only started last month? “Huh”, you say! Didn’t that ball drop at Times Square in New York City on January 1^st, 2011? That was four months ago! How can another new year be beginning now?

Well, according to ancient Jewish mysticism, known as Kabbalah, April (Nisan) is actually the first month of the New Year. The ancient mystic tradition of Kabbalah is believed to have been given initially to the angels, then to Cain and later to Abraham around 1700 BC.

Kabbalah also proposes that spiritually, consciously or unconsciously, we shape the next twelve months of our life during the first twelve days of the month of April. What’s most important about this bit of information is that it reminds us that we are spiritually able to co-create our time here on planet earth. It reveals our inner Divinity. Going through my emails recently I was treated to a lengthy and interesting report from some travelers who happened upon a situation in the wild.  They discovered two antlered deer that had become entwined, either while playing or while engaged in territorial disputes.  The couple’s curiosity caused them to drive closer.

The short of it was that one of the entangled bucks had died and the other buck had not been able to extricate itself from the dead buck’s antlers! It was twisting and turning, slipping and sliding on the muddy hillside in its attempts to shake itself loose. Upon closer inspection it became obvious the struggling buck was trying to free itself from an animal that had expired several days ago. Read the rest of this entry »

It has been scientifically established that energy is absolutely everything and everything is absolutely energy.

More of us must aim to get a handle on this new theory that governs what was once understood as the concept of ‘matter’, or solid, inanimate objects. We need to remember that it was once also taught that the world was flat.

The other side of this energy theory ‘coin’ lends itself to the generally embraced spiritual belief that we are all co-creators, with the Almighty, of our very own life, and of world affairs. This often comes as a surprise to many people, who would respond by saying things like: “You mean this terrible hand of cards that I’ve been dealt, where this happened to me, and they did that to me, and then they treated me the way they did, is all my own fault? Are you telling me that I’m the one to blame? Typically, the energies of many who have come for spiritual direction and clarification segregates itself into clusters.

There are those who have become more enlightened and there are those who shy away from the Light, even while seeking the Light in varying degrees.

Yes, we actually do decide how much Light to allow in every single opportunity.

Think about it. How many of us have seen bumper stickers that say something like: “God is my Co-Pilot”? I’ve always been dismayed by this, because I will always prefer to fly second chair to God.

When we love someone we open ourselves up to joy and happiness, but also to pain and suffering. Think about it – is this not the crux of all our relationships?

Actually, it applies not only to our spousal or passion partners, but also to our extended family, friends, associates and co-workers.

Allow me to now specifically direct you down the path of spousal and passion partner ties. In ‘people speak’ this refers to your spouse, or your boyfriend or girlfriend, or simply your man or your woman. Yes, Spirit laid the passion partner tag on me to include two parties in a non-married, but up-close-and-personal relationship. For clarification: relationships of a sexual nature.

Your partner is the significant other that you feel attracted to by whatever means.  It’s the one that you have deemed your ‘soulmate’. It’s the individual with whom you want to spend most of your time, and whom you pine for when they are not physically present. Read the rest of this entry »
