What is happening in your life today is a result of your own decisions and actions. This applies to all our decisions and actions – present and past. There is no one else to blame.
Most people don’t understand that every thought we have and every action creates karma and shapes our destiny. All of our thoughts have wings. If your thoughts are positive, then you will create good karma and positive outcomes in your life. If they are negative then you will create bad karma, and unwanted outcomes.
So, basically, if you look at your life you see the results of your choices and decisions. Whatever your life is today, it is what you have manifested, with or without your knowing, by your own thoughts, and actions. Read the rest of this entry »
Sometimes we have to look within ourselves and ask really hard questions. One of the really hard questions is: what are you willing to do or not do for your own self-worth.
This dilemma is often seen in situations where someone holds on to a relationship that has run its course. Many times in life we have people who come in for a reason or a season, and during the times that they come into our lives they are there to teach us lesson in life. But then the time also comes for them to move on, and for us to let them go. Read the rest of this entry »
Now, as adults, we are in a place of responsibility where all we know from the day to day is duties and chores like washing the dishes, cooking dinner, running carpool and, of course, that ‘little’ issue called work. Let’s also not for forget about the things that run in the back of your head, like the gas bill, the monthly house payment and all the other things that just keep coming.

Every relationship in our lives must have a foundation of some kind. But what are the important fundamentals of such a foundation for any relationship? What, I have found is that every relationship requires Friendship, Honesty, Love and Respect as its core foundation. Without these pillars the relationship is always able to adapt and grow with any changes in the wind of life.
Sometimes we come across people who have learned to hide their true character, and have learned to lie about their moral and spiritual nature, in order to have a partnership that they feel they will personally gain from. Intention is one of the most important steps of changing your own present circumstances. Intention lets you take responsibility for your own future. In order to have intention one must understand where you want to be. Setting a action plan in place is key.
Preparation or contemplation was the stage where you have started to change your behaviors and attitude to your current circumstances, and you are working on accomplishing your goals. At this time it’s very important to let yourself be flexible in your day to day life, while you are trying to make the transition become natural.
Pre-contemplation stage is a stage where you know that you may need to change, but you’re not sure how. It can also be change that you have tried before, but you did not have enough will power to make the change happen. One may feel that change is going to happen, but you’re not completely sure what must change.
Some people will stay in this stage, until the universe steps in and makes external changes for us in forms of relationship problems, family pressure, and job loss. Then it’s a place where we are forced to make changes in our lives. Read the rest of this entry »
We all have people in our lives that we do not get to see, or spend time with as much as we would like to. During the Christmas holiday season is one of the only times throughout the year that we see some of dearest friends or family.
If you’re anything like me you like to try and make everyone feel special and find them something that they may enjoy, so that it creates a warm, lasting memory for them.
I love to give bayberry candles as a gift. True bayberry candles are handcrafted taper candles and the tradition goes back to the first settlers.
When the first settlers came to America, everything was in short supply. One of the things they needed was candles. Almost all of the candles were made of tallow (animal fat), which tends to smoke and give off an odor. Read the rest of this entry »
Some people view forgiving as an act of weakness, but it actually provides you with strength and freedom. When we hold on to grudges, hatred or resentment towards anyone we will ultimately do a great deal of damage to ourselves.
Forgiveness is about freeing yourself from what has happened to you. What we have to understand is that what has happened to us is in our past, and it will remain a part of our past, and that’s okay. But we are not living in the past. When we think about issues from our past and they still bring pain to us today, then we have not truly forgiven. Read the rest of this entry »
