Back in 1985, I was privileged to be a part of an Esoteric Astrology class in Johannesburg, South Africa. The course included Esoteric Psychology and the lady teaching the class had been a student of Dr. Douglas Baker who taught Psychology of the Soul. I had never heard of this subject before, but it intrigued me.

Basically, it involves the notion that the Universe is made up of seven rays. Each ray has specific attributes. Since the Universe is made up of these rays, we are an integral part of this system. As part of our make-up, we have an affinity with a number of these rays on different levels of our being. I was watching Oprah last year, and her guest was a lady who had been in a coma in the hospital. She said not only could she hear and understand everything going on around her very consciously, while she was in a coma, but that she could actually feel the energy that people carried with them when they were in her room. She could feel that they didn’t pay any attention to her, like she didn’t exist.

The lesson she was teaching on Oprah was that it is important for us to be aware of how we are affecting others at all times.  Although we may not realize it, we are affecting others with the energy we carry around us. Although well-meaning, neglecting to give this lady attention or acknowledgment, while she was in a coma, was putting forth a feeling and an energy as if she was non-existent. One of the most common questions I get when I do psychic readings is: “how can I develop my own psychic abilities?”. A method I used to further my own abilities with great success is meditation towards psychic attunement.

At the end of the day relax on your bed, or wherever you feel comfortable, sit up and rest your back up against the headboard or wall.  Think through the events of the day.  Pick one or two events that stand out in your mind.  They don’t have to be traumatic or negative, just pick a couple of events that stand out more than any others.

Now ask yourself: “how do I feel about this?”  Then wait for a feeling.  You may get a feeling in your solar plexus or ‘gut’, you may get a feeling in your heart area, or some other region of your body.  This is your body’s intelligence tuning you into the event psychically. Psychics read the energy vibration or frequency of a person, animal, plant, or object.

What do I mean by energy?  The best way to explain this is that all things and people are made up of atoms and molecules that are in constant motion. Some molecules are more compact than others.

For example, a steel table top has molecules that are more compact, and move less, than say molecules that make up a human being.

But the molecules of the steel table top still move or vibrate. This movement creates a frequency or energy. Every person’s energy field is unique to that person. We can call it that person’s energy signature. Everything a person is, thinks or feels, vibrates within their energy field and becomes their signature. This energy signature is what is scanned in psychic readings. Read the rest of this entry »

Many children born today show signs of development and talents beyond their years like many of the child singers, artists, athletes, and others we have seen on television and YouTube.

These children are also known as the Indigo children. The term was first coined by Nancy Ann Tappe, who began using it in the 70’s. Awareness of this concept has since spread and has become a global phenomenon.

The Indigo children exhibit talents, abilities and behaviors that are often different from traditional, ‘mainstream’ society. It’s important to understand them, their purpose, and their needs in order to nurture them into who they are to bring out the best in them as they grow into adulthood.  What is their purpose? It is as important to discern for good character when dealing with those on the other side, as it is on earth for us.

It is important to know the quality of guidance and information that we receive from those on the other side.

Many people believe that if they are dealing with spirits, that all spirits are ‘good’, and that information they receive is automatically accurate and true.  This is not necessarily so.

Remember that those on the other side are entities with differing levels of consciousness, just as people here have differing levels of consciousness. There are many different levels of consciousness in existence; there are lower levels and higher levels; just as in our lives, there are lower thinking types of people and higher or more refined thinking people.
