The last few years have been very difficult for many of us, but don’t let that get you down. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and we can finally see a glimmer of light.

The recent financial downfall had many of us feeling helpless and paralyzed, but it had to happen for us to see things differently.

We also need to realize that there are still a lot of people in this world that need a helping hand.

Whenever you start to feel that you deserve more, or become frustrated when someone else has more than you, just think about those that can’t even afford to feed or clothe their family. Or think of those who cannot afford medical insurance for their children. The news reports around a ten percent unemployment rate for the United States, but I think the numbers are even higher than that.

Times are very tough right now, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t help those less fortunate than ourselves. I feel that we as a people need to stop being so into what we want and need, and instead figure out what we can do to help others that have a lot less than we do.

Now, I know you may be giving to charity or helping others as much as we can. Well, you are doing a great job and keep it up! The good Karma you are putting out with your efforts is really what keeps this world turning. Continue sharing such positive energy and you will notice, if you haven’t already, that it is highly contagious. Without your love and support of the poor and broken down, this world would be nothing but doom and gloom.

So, the next time you see someone standing on the corner with a sign asking for help, stop for a second and give what you can.  Don’t think about how or where they will spend it. Charity should be given unconditionally.
