What Is Your Soul Mission?

A soul mission is something that we were sent to this Earth to achieve in our lifetime. It is something that is meant to be our life’s calling. Just like anything else in the world, we all have different definitions of things, depending on our point of views and experiences. A person’s life calling is very personal, specific and something that is divinely orchestrated.

A soul mission or life purpose is something that fills us with joy. It is said that if your job feels like fun and you enjoy what you do… it doesn’t feel like work. That is because you are truly on the path on which you belong.

How do we go about discovering if we are on our soul mission and who can help us through the process? One way to get help figuring this out their is by getting a reading with a reputable psychic. Many clients call me asking what their soul mission is. Often it’s more than just a typical reading, but a conversation that really gets the client to tap into their own intuition, their joys, and their inner child.

Truth is, our soul missions are more obvious to us than we realize. All too often a client is so immersed in their daily activities that they don’t even realize what they should be doing is right in front of them.

Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive ~ Harold Whitman

I did a reading recently for a client who was constantly taking care of her family members and friends. She is a nurturer; someone who always puts everyone else before herself and her own needs. One day she called me, exhausted, sad, and feeling lost. She told me she felt defeated. She felt she would never learn what her soul mission was.

But the answer was very clear… technically she has been partially fulfilling her soul mission all along. It is her bliss to help others, to nurture and protect. After a long discussion we came to a joint conclusion – her soul mission is to work in a healing, care-giving or medical field, helping people with their pain and ailments.

Now, here’s where the hard part came in. She now knew what she was meant to do, called upon by the divine to bring light and healing to the world. The hard part is, how? At the time she was working full-time as a waitress, in a job she hated, but she did  it to make ends meet. She did not have the option to just quit her job and go into a different field of work.

But, she began slowly, first with one class at a time, becoming a medical assistant, and volunteering occasionally when she could in hospitals. And once she got into following her soul mission and her life’s purpose, all other parts of her life started to come together.

The heart of human excellence often begins to beat when you discover a pursuit that absorbs you, frees you, challenges you, or gives you a sense of meaning, joy, or passion ~ Terry Orlick

The main idea of a soul mission is we will not be truly happy until we are working towards our soul mission. It doesn’t happen overnight. There are steps that need to be taken over time to get to fully being immersed in one’s soul mission, but beginning and taking one step at a time really helps align your true divine purpose. When you are doing something you love, and you were put here on Earth to do, all levels of abundance starts to activate in your life.

My guides once told me that when I do my soul mission, I will not need to worry about how I make money, because the Divine will provide. I don’t recommend just quitting all sources of income right away, but if done correctly, gradually transitioning into your soul mission, money will eventually never be a problem again. When you are on soul mission, you’re happier, which raises your vibration, and thusly brings in much more positive things into your life, people, places, and things all come to you with much greater ease.
