It puts one in a state where your mind is relaxed and less distracted. It also opens us up to a higher energy source to recharge ourselves. A daily meditation practice of just a few minutes will replenish your mind, body, and spirit.

Few people take the time out of their crazy days to enjoy the pleasures of relaxing meditation. Meditation can reduce stress and anxiety improving your daily life, and as a result improve your health and general well-being.

Meditation can further help you attune your energy to allow spiritual guidance that can help direct you in your daily life. This will assist you with making the right decisions to moving forward in your life.

Find the best time to fit meditation into your day. Experiment at first but make it as regular as you can as you move into the habit. The beginning of the day or the end are often best. Both is better. Maybe the middle would best tend to your everyday expectations. A time when others are absent or quite or even joining in meditation together.

Learning to meditate means learning to focus. For example, focus on your breath, as you breath in and out. As you inhale, imagine you are inhaling pure love and as you exhale, imagine you are exhaling pure peace. Inhale pure love, exhale pure peace. Repeat the idea as you breath with it.

When we raise ourselves through meditation to what unites us with the spirit, we quicken something within us that is eternal and unlimited by birth and death. Once we have experienced this eternal part in us, we can no longer doubt its existence. Meditation is thus the way to knowing and beholding the eternal, indestructible, essential centre of our being ~ Rudolf Steiner

When you meditate try simply observing any unwanted thoughts that flows through, rather than engaging and reacting. After a short while it will pass.

Meditation is a skill which takes creating a new habit. That habit is taking the time to do it and the habit of letting go of all the daily negative debris. You’re training your mind to be still and that takes effort, because your mind usually is continually busy with one thing or another.

Studies have demonstrated that meditation and prayer can heal the body, nurture the spirit, and put us into contact with a higher power, whether from without or from within ourselves (or both). Studies also suggest that meditation and prayer directed toward the healing of another may actually have an effect, even if the person who is the subject of the healing thoughts doesn’t know he or she is being prayed for. Now that’s meditation power!

You don’t need to be spiritual or religious to practice meditation successfully. Learning to look inward will teach you how better to look outward. Follow your heart, create your dream.

Stress may be inevitable, but it doesn’t have to compromise your health or clutter your mind. Mindful meditation can teach you to live in full awareness, and experience every moment. It can also relieve pain, restore positive attitude, and help you accept who you are right now. You can control your stress response through mindfulness meditation. Be here now.
