The Cat Whisperer

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI recently had to take my cat, Max, to the vet. He hadn’t been feeling well and I woke up one morning sensing I needed to call the vet. I am glad I did, as he had an acute urinary tract infection. Male cats are more prone to getting these type of infections.

His medical emergency took me back to a time when I first felt the need to adopt cats. My best friend, who was an up-and-coming veterinarian at the time, encouraged me to adopt kitties. I felt at the time I couldn’t even have just one or two, because I didn’t want the responsibility, but as the years passed, I wound up adopting six in total!

What was very special to me about adopting these fur babies, was that my vet friend passed away in 2007. Her death impacted me to the point where I became despondent, until I adopted my first baby in 2009 in her memory. The rest is history. I would often joke with my ex that it was my dearly departed friend’s fault for us having so many cats.

It seemed like we adopted one after the other in a short period of only two years. Max was the last kitty we adopted. I didn’t want him at first, thinking we already had too many as it was. My ex had asked me three times in one week if I wanted Max, as he knew the owners and they were going to return him to the shelter. His previous owners didn’t want another cat, since their first cat ran away and returned to their home one night.

Then one evening at dinner, I heard from spirit, “What is one more cat?” So, needless to say, the next morning my ex went to pick up this little hairball named Max. Unwittingly, I joked, “He will be our Mad Max.” Yes, he actually looked like a Mad Max, with his hair standing up on end, and him making so much noise!

It wasn’t until the summer of 2014, before my move to Florida, that I attended a Spiritualist community in my area. I went with a friend, thinking it was more for her benefit, than mine. I was not expecting anyone to come through for me.

We went to the meeting place where mediums from the Spiritualist community would give messages. A medium I was familiar with came right up to me asking, “Do you know a woman who was attending Veterinarian school up in Canada? She also says you accuse her of sending cats to your doorway… well she wants you to know she doesn’t!” He said this with much conviction and then smiled at me.

He continued on, “She was taken from us with a lung ailment.  She says she is with you when you take your fur babies to the vet, where she will always guide you. Also, pay attention to the whispers in your ear.”

Yes, it was indeed my friend who had came through with her sense of humor. Even though I am a psychic medium myself, it is always good to get confirmation and knowing those who have crossed over are with us no matter what. My vet friend was one of a kind. I miss her dearly and am happy to know she watches over me and the fur babies.
