Finding Healing In This Life, Or The Next

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comWe often do not realize the myriad of ways in which each of us, in our own unique way, touch other souls on a daily basis. Often we do this with just a kind deed, word or physical touch.

Healing doesn’t have to be expressed in the laying on of hands. Just being in a person’s presence can, in itself, be a healing experience. Being a good listener, speaking or writing from your heart can be just the medicine another soul needs. Sending out healing in the form of good intention, or prayer and meditation has a strong healing vibration.

I just had a phone conversation with a close friend overseas, who reminded me of the aromatherapy and reflexology sessions she used to have with me. In those days our relationship was still of the customer-therapist variety. Gradually a friendship grew with both her and her family. I always set my intention to help customers to the best of my ability. In my aromatherapy and reflexology days, I used to ask for my guides’ input in choosing the best oils to assist with healing, or with a specific ailment. I believe that my guides’ input was as significant as mine, and perhaps, even more so.

During our call today, my friend, Anna, reminded me how she used to count the sets of hands she felt working on her back when I massaged her. Although I had always been told in psychic readings that I was a healer, and the color green, which signifies a healer, was often predominant in my aura in Kirlian photographs, I had never taken myself that seriously. Anna describes the sensation she experienced way back then as that of many spirit hands helping together with mine. Whatever it was that was occurring at the time, it certainly created significant healing in her body within a short space of time.

I always had a desire to help people and animals feel better, and I recall being taught that the desire to help others has a lot to do with the healing outcome. I was also taught that the motive has to be not of the ego (in other words, not for fame, sensationalism or riches). It’s important to be aware that a person who does not have a calling to heal is not a bad person. It is probably just not in their soul’s journey to heal others in this lifetime. In fact, their journey might be one of an antagonist, who causes a person to require healing in the first place!

I was taught that in some cases, a more subtle cause of a disease might be involved and that at some level our Higher Self is aware of what lessons we require for the growth of our soul and spiritual development. When my father was terminally ill a decade ago, a Life Alignment Therapist worked with him on a weekly basis. My father was comfortable with Allan, and without any other information from myself it was quite mind-blowing to get the feedback of negative emotions which Allan picked up during my father’s Life Alignment sessions.

Among the most predominant emotions Allan identified were resentment, anger and bitterness. Although my father acknowledged how accurate the list of emotions was, he simply would not make the association of the body-mind-spirit connection, which Allan suggested was fuelling his condition. Dad still preferred to judge the people he felt were responsible over the years for his fear-based emotions.

Since his passing, spirit messages suggest that my dad has now become enlightened with guidance from his spirit helpers, and he continues to learn lessons not learned on this side about the negative emotions, which were all-consuming towards the end of his life. We will all work through our ‘stuff’ in one way or another at our own pace, so if you are concerned about a loved one who left this earth plane in a non-peaceful way, just know that they still have the opportunity to find their peace where they are now, together with the assistance of some very wise beings.
