Psychic Protection During Readings

Click for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comCasandra Eason writes that psychic powers are not intrinsically good or evil, but they can be used either positively or negatively.

Before, during and after psychic readings, either in person or via the phone or chat rooms, there are ways to protect both the psychic and the client. This ensures that only the highest good of all is being served and that all psychic energy present fosters a safe and positive atmosphere.

Protective methods and techniques come in all shapes and forms. There are, for example, invocations of arc angels and guides that can be read, special prayers that can be said, crystals that can be placed strategically, sea salt that can be dispersed, creative visualizations that can be used, and much more.

Whatever systems of psychic protection and shielding are used, it is very important to keep oneself and one’s clients safe from psychic attack and intrusion while a reading is in progress.

In particular, many experts in the field of psychic reading recommend that each session should have an opening and a closing. This is to protect both the psychic and the client as they go on about the rest of their lives, after a reading has been completed. It keeps unwanted psychic energy from taking hold of us in a negative fashion.

Casandra Eason also states in her book, Psychic Development, that “many people are aware of a spiritual energy field around our bodies that makes us feel uncomfortable if someone intrudes mentally or physically on what is currently called, in psychological terms,  ‘our personal space.’ This energy field is our aura.”  She goes on to say that we should remember to thank our psychic guardians before and after readings.

Whatever methods of shielding and protection each psychic reader chooses to use, creating a protective energy field around ourselves and our clients is a very wise idea indeed.

  • This is funny. I just read Ol’Boogeyman Still Comin to Getcha? blog post by Anthony St Martin and it makes this blog sound more like scare-mongering than anything else. I agree that psychic protection during readings is important to help readers set a positive intention and prevent them from taking onboard the energy of the client. Anthony’s faith in the divine light and positive intention is a way of doing this.

What is this about protecting the reader and the client against psychic attack and intrusion during readings? Are you implying that by giving and even receiving readings you are vulnerable and in danger? If so I would really like clarification with specific examples to justify this claim rather than the vague warning.

I am with Anthony in the belief that connecting with our inner selves, our divine nature can only be positive it is what we do with that connection that tips the balance. As you say at the start of the blog psychic powers can be used positively or negatively. If energy follows thought or intention then it is this that directs the energy with which we connect. If we fear psychic attack then our fears are likely to manifest.

If we enter readings with positive intentions; to connect with our guides or the most helpful information for our clients, to serve the highest good of all, and that the client leave the reading empowered with the ability to heal themselves, surely there is nothing to fear but ourselves?
