Using Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Frankincense essential oils will help keep you grounded while meditating. You can use just one, or you can mix them together in equal parts, then just diffuse the oil according to your preference.

“Love Come To Me” oil is made with two parts Rose, or Rose Otto, and one part Lavender, Honeysuckle or Ylang Ylang. Use as you would in a diffuser, or as a perfume oil on pulse points. The Rose oil makes us feel more attractive, the Lavender, Honeysuckle or Yland Ylang helps give us confidence.

Using Rosemary, Peppermint, Lemon Grass, and Ginger will help in studying and memory retention. Use one, or a combination in equal parts. Dabbing a small amount on your third eye will enhance your ability to recall information later.

Living is about capturing the essence of things. I go through my life every day with a vial, a vial wherein can be found precious essential oils of every kind! The priceless, fragrant oils that are the essence of my experiences, my thoughts ~ C. JoyBell C.

For mild depression use two drops each of Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Sandalwood in any diffuser. Clary Sage helps promote the feel-good hormones, Ylang Ylang helps with anxiety, Geranium helps clear the debris in our heads, and Sandalwood helps keep us grounded.

To recharge or refuel mix 12 drops Lavender, six drops Peppermint, four drops Pine, and one drop Cinnamon essential oils. You can mix this in one cup of bath salts and enjoy a relaxing bath, or use in an oil diffuser, or both.

Chakra Balancing

In today’s hustle and bustle we all have days when everything feels out of balance. It’s important to get, and keep our chakras balanced and operating at the optimum frequency. For this I use one ounce of a carrier oil. I prefer Olive, but any other clean oil would work. Mix it with two drops of each essential oil chosen and dab a bit on the chakra, always moving in a clockwise direction.

The root chakra is located in the pelvis and is the most important chakra to keep in balance, if the root chakra is unbalanced, it’s almost impossible to get and keep the rest of them balanced. When it’s out of whack you can feel confused, stuck, and in general unhappy and kind of out of it.  I recommend Cedarwood, Patchouli, Myrrh and Frankincense. The chakra is located in the pelvis, and you would apply the oil just above the tail bone.

The sacral chakra deals with creativity, problem resolution and sexual desire. It is just above the navel and the oils associated with the sacral chakra are Patchouli, Rose, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, and Sandalwood.  If the sacral chakra is out of balance there will be fears of intimacy, or feelings of neediness or being withdrawn. I see this in people after a significant loss, spouse or other close family manner. Apply the oil about an inch below your navel.

We each have the innate ability to heal ourselves. To empower ourselves with natural solutions, instead of succumbing to life-altering chemicals. There’s a time and place for pharmaceuticals, but it shouldn’t be the first answer, nor the only form treatment ~ Dana Arcuri

The solar plexus chakra is located about an inch above your navel and strongly affects your self-worth and how you interact with others. When the solar plexus is not working right there will be extreme ranges of behavior, from being obnoxious to feelings of low self-esteem. The oils used to help balance are Geranium, Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove and anything Citrus.

The heart chakra is located over your heart and influences our ability to give and receive love, and helps us deal with the sadness associated with betrayal from a loved one. The oils used in balancing the heart chakra are Geranium, Rose, Ylang Ylang, Mandarin, Jasmine and Sandalwood.

If you trace a line from your chin to your collarbone, the throat chakra is located in the hollow of your throat and influences how you communicate from the words you use, to body language, to how you understand what you hear. When out of balance you will notice excessive talking, feelings not being expressed, manipulation and deceit. The preferred oils are Peppermint, Bergamot, and Cypress.

The third eye chakra controls common sense, intelligence, dreams and intuition and is located above your eyebrows, in the middle of your forehead. When the third eye chakra is out of balance you’ll see harsh judgment of others, over-thinking, forgetfulness, and a lack of common sense. The oils to use for balancing the third eye include Patchouli, Clary Sage, Sandalwood and Frankincense.

The crown chakra is located at the top-center off your head and governs our feelings of deity, an abnormal fear of death, feelings of loneliness. To gain clarity and spirituality the oils to use are Frankincense, Lavender, Sandalwood, Rose and Myrrh.
