The Soulmate Conundrum

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comI have been looking at relationships in a practical manner in  my readings, as this makes most sense to me. I then build in a layer of empathy. As I love writing, I will attempt to give you at least four adjectives to describe your object of interest. It is like writing a story, building a character, painting a picture. The basic structure to our relationships are the same, yet the layers are assigned by us, through our experience as the observer.

I cannot really describe myself as spiritual. My spirituality is an odd and imperfect mix of mathematics and geometry, perhaps being the pure expression of the sum of God, in a language I as a human can understand. I cannot say my math is great, but my perception of numerology and geometry is intuitive, and this doesn’t allow me to see the finer perceptions of spirit within relationships.

Despite having personal memories of astral travelling, and being able to understand the communications from the passing of people I knew, I still do not personally pray to any god, nor believe in the utmost ideal of Spirit. It comes to me naturally in a mixture of animism, symbolism, a pantheistic amalgamation of all the spiritualities of all people, of all the knowledge and experiences I have had. Of course that leaves me open to the idea that we may indeed not survive this life, and I still hold out surprise.

My skepticism of soulmates arose from the idea that each encounter with the other person was to teach us a unique lesson, with no long-term value in the conventional sense of a relationship. It was perhaps most possible to learn a psychological lesson from these encounters and thus make progress in our personal illumination, our ascension, somewhat akin to survival. To me this was all simply an illusion, reinforced by societal conventions and some good marketing.

Look at the person next to you, or the person you love, or the person you love to hate. They are your soulmate. They come in many different forms.

Yet for the person still wishing to believe in the concept of a responsive God, the God needing prayer, the God that responds to all of our needs, the parent, I would assert, even in its most mathematical essence, in its rawest form, God does exist within the people we encounter and the feelings we express. So in fact, we are the God head, and perhaps each person we encounter is the embodiment of our next ascension, a lesson from that God, and this lesson being universal and religiously neutral.

So, in encountering Soul mates, I would reassure you, indeed they do exist, but in many versions and possibly in tandem with your spiritual needs.

The Casual Soulmate

You will encounter this person in the street, through work, or accidentally. Look carefully. What are they doing? What are they trying to say to you? How can they help you throughout your day? Do they hand you a symbol, helping you on your way to work, are they delaying you on your way to the store, fortuitously avoiding an accident? These encounters help with the free flow of life’s passage, indeed these are a type of soulmate. They can also come as lovers, but they may still be a casual or transitory spirit guide.

The Teacher

These figureheads come in the form of your parents, the friends that are hardest on you, but also perhaps your shy neighbor, who cannot muster the words to talk to you. Is this person trying to convey silence or should you seek this person out and discover your lesson? This is a choice, not an imperative and elective, a helpful guide.

The Twin-Flame

I have an issue with this idea. This means to me that we had no choices in life. The twin flame would mean that we would be limited to one person. This would mean that we are an instrument of fate and not in control of our own destiny.

Yet, you are not an instrument of the whims of destiny. You will attract your soul, your self, your truer self in another form, when you are ready to trust. Ask yourself if you like yourself. You don’t have to put your trust in everyone, but you should put your trust in yourself. Even a little bit will do!

Meanwhile respect each encounter as a potential soul mate, a spirit guide, a lead to your most sacred place, the source of your soul, your soulmate.
