Creativity And The Soul

Get a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comThe creativity of the mind is like the mind of a child, working with LEGO® to assemble buildings, roads, cars, paintings. The mind is limited to the lower worlds, whether it deals with physical or energetic solutions, the mind can only work with what it knows. The mind cannot create anything spiritual.

Cultivated spiritual energy can be passed down to the mind, but the mind cannot create spiritual concepts. The intellect is not the point of origin for creativity. It only thinks it is.

We must align ourselves with Spiritual Energies if we want to reach higher states of consciousness and access a creativity that extends beyond the confines of the known laws of earth. So, the key to true creativity is not rearranging the concepts we already know, but to clear the way for Spiritual energies to alter our concepts of ourselves and our world.

Preconceived notions are the locks on the door to wisdom ~ Merry Browne

As we cultivate spiritually, our concentration increases and so does our ability to absorb greater truths and deeper spiritual knowledge, and we are more able to function from Soul rather than the Mind. We can only begin to change our concept of ‘I Am’ as we let go of our ‘Legos, by emptying the Mind and allowing Spiritual energies in to alter us and our reality. Attempting to alter our reality with the very Mind that perceives Reality is an exercise in futility.

The Mind bases its concepts on experiences from the past and knowledge from the past, building on those foundations. But what if those foundations are false? For example, if you have been beaten as a child, you may base all your decisions on how to react to authority figures from that past; you tie yourself into a loop like a mouse running in a wheel, all the while thinking you have cleverly figured out how to handle authority figures, while you are fired from one job after another. So, the Mind is tries to alter current concepts using old false concepts, and instead is falling victim to mental gymnastics based on a past that is not a Spiritual truth.

How do we escape running in the wheel like a hamster? We need to abandon the idea of the Mind changing the Mind, and transcend. We need to open a door to allow Spiritual Energies to recreate, re-conceptualize, and rearrange our limited thinking about a situation and about reality as we think we know it.

Creativity is God’s gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God ~ Julia Cameron

Thought, feeling and imagination can hold us prisoner if they are coming from the lower Mind. They can become agents of the Lower Planes of the Mundane World, securing golden chains and iron shackles of justification and limitation re-creating the same stifling conditions that bind us in the first place. The only escape from this golden prison is one’s absolute conviction that there is a higher source of Energy, and to place one’s attention on that Energy.

Solving problems with the mind is like grabbing the caboose to stop a train. We need to go to the lead car of the locomotive —elevate it to a higher plane, and that in turn will change the path of the locomotive, including the caboose. The locomotive is our attention and awareness, and where we place those directs our movement.

The Mind believes in cause and effect. Our attention and attitude takes us to transcendence where we can disconnect the past and  break the chain of cause and effect. Our thoughts, feelings and imagination are always guided by our attention and awareness. If our awareness only sees the implementation of former past concepts, or if it only sees rearranging concepts like rearranging LEGO®, we are destined to stay the same, like the mouse running in the wheel.

However, if our awareness turns to another Source, our concepts, and imagination are freed to transcend. This takes a discipline as it is not easy to direct our attention and awareness to a Higher Source. Our concepts rearrange themselves according to the Power we have harmonized with, in any given moment!

So, we are talking about Spiritualizing our consciousness, not charging ahead trying to use the Mind to envision a higher way of being in the Mind! Our current concepts of ourselves is directly proportional to our ability to transcend, surrender to a Higher Source of Energy, which is achieved by focusing our attention and awareness on that Source, rather than allowing the feeble Mind to become King.

    Anna:

I find that meditation is one of the best ways to get in touch with our essence and creative source. It is a technique that seems to cross most belief boundaries.I am Native American and the sweat lodges and other ceremonies that I do are also ways to do this, but it is not for everyone. It works for me and is my spiritual path.
